**WARNING: MILD SPOILERS**
This is my review of the manga after reading upto chapter 222
# The good bits
- Story 7/10 (first half):
The concept of the story is nice, loner guy hires a girlfriend and get's in a mess with his family. It's surely better than most tsundere rom com's you would come across
...
- Art 8/10:
The art is just great, it does a good job portraying the emotions. The cover art's are just plain fire, if I saw a cover of this in a store then i'd definitely be hooked
# The Bad bits
- Story (second half) & Character 4/10
Their choice of characters is fair, a 'bad girl', a 'tsundere', a "shy girl" and the ideal waifu.
The problem arises is with how much of what you really get to see,
90% of the manga is just based on the ideal waifu and the 'bad girl' arguing with each other and the 'tsundere' just making her own space into the story.
There is almost zero airtime for the "shy girl" who is also one of the most beloved character from the original anime. Not to mention there is another side character in the anime they introduced in one of the chapters and completely forgot about
Talking about the MC, he is a cringy young man who can't get his words straight. Everytime you expect him to make a move, you'd be disappointed
- Enjoyment 3/10
If you watched the anime, you'd be pretty enjoyed but everything after that is just bland and boring.
The manga is just a repetitive mess of "should I confess" and "I failed to confess again", I can assure you there has been zero development to the story from where the anime ended
- Overall 5/10
If you are an average rom-com fan, you should read it. It does come out as a "good waste of time", you would be disappointed but you wouldn't regret reading it at the same time
