Come on and slam, and welcome to Japan. Come on and slam, if you wanna jam.

For the record, I tend to like action/adventure, psychological shows, "mindfucks," science fiction (namely dystopias), and spirit/mythology-centric subject matter. I also seek out anime with unique visual and/or narrative styles as well as anime that deals with LGBT+ themes. I generally dislike most "moe," ecchi, and harem shows, and I'm picky about romances. But, of course, there are exceptions to everything.
Sometimes my personal preferences may sway a rating but I normally try to think hard about why I rate something a certain way.
Rough rating system (keep in mind it's just sort of a guideline):
- 10 = Basically a masterpiece. Rare rating.
- 8 and 9 = Would recommend to most people with maybe a couple exceptions.
- 7 = Good. Might have a few issues, but worth a watch.
- 6 = The better side of average. Thought it was enjoyable if nothing else.
- 5 = Alright. I can see why people might like it.
- 4 = The better side of bad. I can probably see some appeal.
- 2 and 3 = Absolutely awful for one reason or another. 100% dropped it. Rare ratings.
- 1 = Saving this rating in case I find something somehow worse than a 2.
I don't give full reviews because I don't have the time, and a lot of these I watched too long ago to give a detailed review anyway, but I usually try to briefly explain my ratings (sometimes in a serious manner, sometimes not) in the blurbs.
