Most of the film was a recap of what had already happened during the 3rd season. We assumed the other half with the information given during the entire Fruits Basket series. Nothing new was really said, except we got visuals for it. Baby Tohru was the cutest though. I will say I'm a little disappointed. We did get more insight on Kyoko's relationship with her parents, same with Tohru's dad. There were some uncomfortable scenes due to the large age gap, it was basically grooming. I meant to post this a while back ago when I finished it back in March but here’s my first review. The first episode already has me in my feels with the whole crying is not a sign of weakness. I honestly was pretty turned off by the drawing and his eyes. I started crying halfway through the second episode to be honest and mostly through the entire anime.
