I own a Club for programmers and/or leisure time coders on MAL! Care to join?
It's just a club to know how many programmers there are and to share troubles, experiences, and unanime-related stuff. We're pretty active on our Discord server. We've got members such as the creator of PocketMAL, MALClient, Atarashii (only on Discord), etc.
Just read your blog post about playing Visual Novels on mac, great post but you should mention that it's actually possible to emulate the CD Drive from a Disk Image or similar under wine. I don't have the exact details right now, but I know you can re-route the device letters (I once mounted my DS's memory card as Drive Z to get a certain application to work) and if you fiddle with the settings for a bit then you can re-route essentially anything to anything. Wine requires a bit of work (namely installation of X11 from the OSX install disc, the use of the MacPorts system and a lot of command typing) but is worth it!
