Hey! Sorry for not responding sooner.
It was ok-ish I guess (I'll probably lower the score to a 6)
I expected a unique experience in the Isekai genre because of a trailer I watched a while ago... But it did not fulfill my expectations in the end.
Is a well animated show and the soundtrack was very good!
But theres a little too much "moe" for me, and the worldbuilding felt kinda weird (not in a good way). There's not much of a plot and I didn't really liked the characters that much.
I will probably just finish the first season and never touch it again.
Would not recommend under normal circumstances.
But if you really like isekai, dont care about the moe and are looking for a well produced show, then...

Only 3 years? You have such a great taste that I thought you had been watching for a long time.
I started watching around 2010 and hit my peak between 2013 and 2016, I used to watch one cour a day.
And my taste was kinda... lets say I used to like pretty much every show, it was only after a while that I started being more picky, but I guess its tied to my age.
I'll watch the movies soon then! I didnt thought there was more story than the first season, but Madoka surely was an amazing watch, so I'm interested in seeing more of it.
The 2000 era is the best for me too, but I like how much the industry has grown; theres always many new shows to watch, 2022 in specific is full of favorite-contenders to me (Spy x Family being one of them), I had to empty my old favorites just so I could rearrange it later.
I watch anime mainly for the unique factors, the mood, and the artstyle, but the shows have to speak to me in a personal level to become a favorite. I'll drop stuff quite quickly too. (Although sometimes I put myself through torture for the right of criticizing something I really dislike) I usually forget pretty soon about a show I droped and only bother putting on my list the ones that I might give another chance someday, if I feel like it.

Madoka is also great! I have never watched the movie, tho... Is it good?
About the Gintama guy... I cannot understand him at all
He should know that I'll not change my score because I have cleary hated the experience, but still, he insists on coming to my profile and complaing about it.
I say the show is overrated, he tells me the show deserves its spot, I show him the numbers that prove it does not, and he starts calling me an elitist and saying that I'm not better than him. Like bro, chill.
I guess this says a lot about gintama fans...
