Overall, Blue Lock is interesting. I started watching the anime and then decided to read the manga just to see how the story would evolve to get a taste for it. I'm currently on Chapter 179, and I still quite enjoy it. My only flaws with it are that the main character, Isagi, does not seem to evolve as fast as those around him, which is quite confusing because he will have these really powerful moments or have a shift in his thinking and perform really well, then goes back to being pretty average. Okay so just a head's up before I say anything, I started reading the manga after I finished s1, and im currently on around chapter 128, and I just finished episode 4.
Right off the bat, the first episode was really good, included the manga well and covered everything well in that section. Same goes for episode two. Then we watch episode three, where they skip important dialogue and key background information needed on the farms, as well as the important message Mujika tells Emma, which is really important.
