Both mangas have really intricately drawn characters that have a unique character design and distinct conflicting personalities. They also both deal with themes of the supernatural and saving people from 'darkness'. The plots both consist of someone who wishes to help people who have the same problem as them in a sense whilst working alongside people with powers.

Both mangas delve into the problems with society and how crossdressers and homosexuals get judged and are confined into a cage. A cage where they are unable to express their true emotions and expressions. In Shimanami Tasogare, it goes deeper into other issues and cross-dressing itself and homosexuality whilst Ouji-Sama to Haiiro no Hibi lightly touches the topic of freedom of expression and is more so dominated with a classic shoujo romance with a side story of a shounen-ai romance.

Both are romance mangas involving sports. The FLs are the managers for each respective club and have a crush on one of the club member. However, the MCs (who are the bad boy popular type character troupe) have an interest in the FL and develop a crush on her.

Essentially, they both deal with deep and dark concepts and show how someone like a teacher can help save the lives of students. Both mangas were really raw and contained a lot of teachings that could be applied to many situations in life.

To put it short, the fight scenes are extremely intense and gripping. I noticed that both mangas have exaggerated character expressions and the human anatomy is greatly heightened to make the fight scenes more appealing to read.

I'm going to summarise their similarities by explaining their main attributes regarding the plot and story progression. Both mangas are about young girls who face the unknown. An unknown curse/force of power that prevents them from achieving their dreams/goals. Mahou Shoujo is something you watch being watching, thinking it's about cute magical girls but you quickly learn that it's a deep and twisted story. This is the same for Coffee Moon, judging by the characters you assume it's a cute story but when you read the first chapter you see how dark and desperate the main character is. Both mangas have a sense of tragedy and darkness woven into the storyline, you progress further into the story and all your questions are answered with even more questions. I recommend you to consider reading either of these mangas as the plot is extremely unique and refreshing from the typical magical girl plot!

At a first glance, I thought both mangas were nowhere near similar but the more I read into it the more similar both mangas became. Haru no Noroi and Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon both have similar concepts, a girl who has low self-esteem due to their family remembers and peers not caring for them as there existed a sister who was more loved and praised. Both girls of these mangas are almost neglected by other people and have people's attention stolen away from them by their sister - who ends up being twisted in both mangas. The males in the manga seem to both be well respected by others and fall in love with the girl in a story of a fresh start and journey to find happiness in such a dark environment.

Both main characters, Mash and Tatsumi, do not recognise their strength and influence on people. They're pretty dumb outside of fighting and are respected and misunderstood by a lot of people which gets them into a lot of fights. They both attract the attention of their enemies who become friends or strange people who become close to the main character. Mash and Tastumi are unconsciously willing to do anything for their friends and put others in front of themselves. Both mangas have a strong main character with interesting side characters which makes them incredibly funny! I would recommend both mangas to anyone who enjoys a good action story with comedy.

Both mangas are very similar in various aspects, ranging from comedic to plot wise. Fukei-san to Ansatsu-san follows the story of an assassin and a police woman, both finding peculiar ways into each other's lives without really knowing who the other person is which is similar to Spy x Family, a story about a make belief family with an assassin and a spy who don't know each other's true occupations. They're both extremely wholesome and I recommend both!
