Both are splendid anime, that would definitely tug one's heartstrings. Both depict realistic scenarios, portraying the love and care siblings (the main characters) had for one another. Human nature, or rather how the society works, are painted beautifully. Tragedy did occur in both anime. If looking for an anime that is emotional or you just want to have a ''good cry'', both are must-watch. If you like one, you would like the other.

it is mostly the feel of the story, especially the psychological part (even though NGE is more confusing than MoO) the story plot is similar in the sense that the good guys, Meros Warriors (MoO) and Evangelion (NGE), and the bad guys, Monsters (MoO) and Angels (NGE), battle what seemed to be a very long battle.. both endings are about the same where they are left hanging, and left for the viewers to imagine.

The basic storylines are about the same. Mainly, it is all about a couple deeply in love with each other, but they encountered lots of obstacles that kept trying to pull them apart... Ojousama wa Oyomesama is more towards light comedy, while Kiss Yori mo Hayaku is more towards sweet romance, though both mangas' plot have light comedy and sweet romance.

Both anime are about the main characters going to an alternate world. They both obtained the ability/power/weapon to fight - in MAR using ARMS and in Kiba using shards. Of course, both main leads became stronger as the anime progresses on. However, in contrast with Kiba, MAR is a far lighter anime and with a more exciting, complex and smoother plot. Still, when i first watched Kiba, the first anime it reminded me of is MAR.
