Both have an idealistic protagonist who enters an almost clubroom, not by their own will but forced by someone close to them. In the clubroom they encounter a single girl. they're both masterfully done shows that i recommend.

...then you might like Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan add

Both have self-aware moments and one acknowledges the other. Both seem to be comedy but have their wholesome and heartfelt moments. Both have a character that seems to attract many different people around him, but have their own small group of close friends.
