Pretty interesting story base with a mix of a virus outbreak, corrupt government/society, and the supernatural ability to extract and materialize human hearts into weapons. Guilty Crown covers many subjects and themes like revolution, sacrifice, duty, and friendship. This anime, surprisingly, has a lot of depth and heart to it.
Both arcs are uniquely entertaining with a very nice, dark twist in the middle. The pacing is good in my opinion. I love how many of the episodes were action-packed with a good balance of political, high school, and personal drama. The story did really well in terms of the themes and character development.

Because of the concept of materializing human hearts into weapons, it plays a good role in really distinguishing a diversity of characters. I really appreciate the depth in each character. I can see the main character, Shu Ouma, getting a bunch of hate, which I do not quite understand. The character development done on Shu was executed very well. He starts off as a coward (which explains why later on in the series) and becomes a real figure and hero. Guilty Crown did really well on covering the theme of duty. Shu is, later, stuck in a sticky situation where he must lead his school and peers, and take responsibility for all the blood on his hands. He is torn between his duty to his friends, duty to protect everyone as a leader, and duty to himself. Because of this dilemma, he is seen as a tyrant by his friends and peers and is hated for it. Let's not forget he is 17. He is really just a kid. And he gets a lot of crap for doing the right thing and making difficult decisions for the best. He is betrayed and knocked down to the lowest level, and he is able to pick himself up and continue fighting despite everything that has happened to him. And even after ALL THAT, he still finds forgiveness in his heart and remains true to himself. How do you hate a character like this? Shu Ouma is a hero who bears the burden of using his friends and classmates as weapons and sacrificing his reputation and face for the sake of everyone's safety. His character has grown the most and that is the job as the main character. Really well done on that part.
Overall, I really enjoyed the series. Guilty Crown is very influencing on me. This anime has a creative story base, good characters, really good character development, strong themes, good pacing, and a fair ending. The execution and production was really well done. The art and animation were amazing. If you can't take an anime with a lot of depth and heart, and requires a bit of understanding and analyzing, then this is not the anime for you. Don't just throw around crap ratings because you cannot see the bigger message behind a good anime.

This anime has a GREAT kick off, right from the beginning, but it's really sad that they have to ruin it with the consistency. The main story is suppose to be Raku Ichijou finding the love of his life: the girl he made a promise to ten years ago and sealed with a pendant and a key. The problem is that he is stuck in a situation where he must pretend to be the fake lover of Chitoge Kirisaki, who he does not like, for the sake of his and her family.
The first half of the anime is really good. The beginning, especially, is amazing.
...
The plot is focused, very interesting, and I laughed a whole bunch. I really enjoyed it. However, after awhile, the anime became very unfocused and it started to feel like I was being dragged. It wasn't as funny anymore, the art got lazy, and the main story was lost. The idea of finding his "mystery girl" was completely forgotten. Also, his affections for Kosaki Onodera is also inconsistent and frustrating. Their relationship NEVER develops, although I do understand that they keep it "neutral" to keep his relationship with the other girls balanced. But if they're trying to keep a "balance", they completely failed at that part as well. There is too much screen time with Chitoge and too little with the other three girls. I get that Chitoge is the main female character, but if she is, they could have at least made her a bit less annoying. A successful anime TO ME would have wonderful, complex main characters who I grow to love. But honestly, I like Kosaki and Marika a lot more than Chitoge. It is kind of depressing to have an anime where I don't even root for the "main couple".
The ending is funny and enjoyable, but not satisfying. We don't find out who he ends up with nor does it seem like he cares anymore. The pendant got broken and that's the last we heard of it.
Nisekoi is very inconsistent and at times, frustrating. Great artwork, but became lazy and sloppy. Unsatisfying ending. Although I am pretty disappointed with it, Nisekoi is still a funny and enjoyable anime. In my opinion, the beginning deserves a 9/10, first half deserves an 8/10, the rest would probably be a 6/10. Average for me is a 7/10.

This was an anime that has captured my heart from the very beginning and very easily made its way to my favorites list! I am so thankful to have watched this. It was so beautiful in many ways and is absolutely amazing.
STORY ~
The story is a combination of drama, fantasy, and romance, which is always interesting if you execute it the right way. I've got to say, from my first impression of the anime, I had high expectations right from the start and had a general feeling of the type of anime this will be. However, it turned out COMPLETELY different from what I expected,
...
but still very amazing. In other words, Nagi no Asukara was a pleasant surprise with many extremely emotional scenes. I didn't expect it to make me cry and tear up so many times. Also, what surprised me the most was the plot twist for the second arc of the anime. The overall feel between the two arcs are very different: first one being brighter and happier, second one being darker and mysterious. I was on the edge of my seat a lot more than I anticipated. Of course there were some (but very little) parts where I would have preferred it to be done differently; and there were also small parts that felt a little dragged. But these small things are not enough to bring the anime down. It has a great balance of genres. Very enjoyable and creative, with a beautiful ending!
ART ~
Nagi no Asukara has the most gorgeous art and animation of any anime I have even seen/watched. It is simply breathtaking! The characters all look very pretty and handsome, and the best part would have to be the SCENERY. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful landscapes. The artwork was actually the first thing that grabbed my attention for this anime. Very well drawn and animated. Without a doubt, it deserves an A+.
MUSIC/SOUNDTRACK ~
All I have to say for the music is that it is wonderful. I absolutely love the soundtrack! And I'm not just talking about the OP/ED, but also about the music throughout the anime. Beautiful and emotional soundtrack that really enhances the scenes. It's really rare for me to love the music of an anime so much, that I would constantly search for them through the internet. Excellent music choices!
CHARACTER ~
In Nagi no Asukara, there are a number of characters: all very diverse and have purpose. Character showings were very off balance, but I didn't mind at all. Some characters had a lot more time on screen than others. This allows the audience to connect more strongly to certain characters, rather than the other ones. However, the showtimes for some characters shifted over time.
To be honest, I had a list of characters that I adored and a list that annoyed me. Character development was done very well and is very effective towards the storyline. I love how each of them matured and grew as a person. It was very rewarding to watch. By the end of the anime, I love every character! Very satisfying!!!
Nagi no Asukara has left a mark on my heart and I am very sad it has ended. Truly a masterpiece in so many ways. This anime deserves a lot more attention than it gets. I am very happy and satisfied, especially with the ending. Nagi no Asukara is truly an anime I will never forget.

The story was the only thing it took to get me into SAO.
Actually, I think the best thing about this anime was the story. There are many directions this anime can go with a story like that. You really feel like they're in a game. Wonderful settings and fighting style. I can't think of a anything bad to say for SAO, besides the ending. One part of the ending is very disturbing, a little bit too disturbing if you ask me. People who have watched it know what I'm talking about. But that wasn't enough to bring this anime down for me. I really enjoyed

Honestly, for some reason, I had high expectations on this anime. From my rating, you can tell that I'm disappointed.
Let's start of with the things I liked. I really liked the concept of a separation of classes at the academy: Night class and Day class. I also love the look of the uniforms. But sadly, that is where my Like List ends for Vampire Knight..
Very dry and boring story. Repetitive and meaningless. Bland and useless characters. I don't even like the main character and that is really bad. I am actually surprised I finished both seasons.

Amazing.. just simply amazing.
This kind of story (just by the first impression of the synopsis) doesn't exactly fall into my enjoyment list, but I am SO glad I have it a go. This anime has changed my life. The story, itself, is very creative and interesting. I am very fascinated and curious of all the mysterious hidden in the story. In my opinion, the art is average, BUT the action sequences leave me breathless! The movement of the characters and action choreography is AMAZING. Many complex, mysterious characters that work very well together. I absolutely enjoyed this anime! I am praying for more seasons!!!

The ending of this anime struck me RIGHT through the heart! My emotions were everywhere and I was unable to process it for a while.
The story was wonderful, great characters, and one real ending. This anime has moved me in many ways. It covers well on subjects like war, revolution, sacrifice, and peace. I normally don't enjoy revolution/war animes, but this one did well in my book. The ending was the main thing about Code Geass that really took its rating up a level. Whenever I think back to it, I am still just simply shocked! Very influencing on me for an anime.

The first movie was a huge disappointment for me.. but this movie made up for it. I love it and it's absolutely cute and wonderful!
The story is much better, CLICHE, but much much better. It picks up after the end of the anime and it is the perfect wrap up. This makes the entire anime complete. I enjoyed it and absolutely loved it! The movie even made me tear a bit once in a while. Best ending I could have asked for! All Cardcaptor Sakura lovers MUST watch this!

This was my childhood! I loved it so much as a child and still love it now.
First off, the story is interesting. The episode styles are kind of repetitive, but I was never bored with it. The art is pleasing considering the time this anime aired. Very cute and adorable characters!! I also love how they change up the clothes and hairstyles a lot! Animes don't do that enough.. keeping with the same clothes and hair. So I really appreciate how creative they were with this. Sometimes some of the things would be a bit weird or unnecessary, but you must understand that this anime
...
was created for children. Overall, everything is great :)
SPOILERS -----
Sakura and Syaoran are two of my most favorite characters. I love their personalities and they both work well together. Their romance is one of the highlights of the story! Sakura x Yukito was starting to annoy me and bit. Watching Syaoran fall for Sakura is one of the best things on this anime! This anime is also not shy at all (esp. with the sexuality, age gaps for romances, and such.)!!
