Moved to my new place about two weeks ago and it's been a blast. Still gettin' messages everyday from my parents but what can ya do. E-mailing you now and it should arrive some time soon! And hey, at least the brat is out of your life now haha.
PseudoJord Aug 4, 2015 8:28 AM
It seems you're not taking private messages, sis, or MAL just won't let me send one to you. So I'll just have to openly say dump the lil' brat. The boy's an adult and he shouldn't need to be babysat, and it's not your job to either. I know a friend who worked in a pharmacy and managed to convince the boss that his co-worker, who made numerous mistakes, never improved, and doesn't pull her weight, was not worth keeping.

Anyways, sorry for being absentee the past...I don't even know how long. Work has not slowed down and instead have been speeding up because my prof wants everything finished before I leave so that no one else will have to take over the projects, or at least do any new experiments. That likely won't be the case, however, since there's still a bit of troubleshooting to be done. I'm purchasing stuff for moving out now, finally, and the day's coming in less than three weeks. I really have no idea how it'll turn out but I'm hoping for the best. Quite the excitement! E-mail coming sometime this week, or else I give up drinking forever.

Thanks for donating the CSS for your anime list layout (I'll be using it~), it's real simple compared to the others but I like it o/

'grats on finding the apartment! You thinking of getting a car when you move? I visited my friend's place to see if it was actually decent and then hunt others if it wasn't - turns out the apartment was a lot better than I expected, and at 600/mo for a great locale, it's a steal. I went to the all-day grad openhouse on Friday and met a couple of profs whom I might do rotations with. Some were more charismatic than others, and they had a real ego about how the department is the best biological research division in the country. Hopefully my head size stays small after being there for a while haha.

Convocation was alright - ceremony was short and sweet. I didn't meet as many friends as I thought. Honestly I feel like convocation should be closer to when exams ended, but I guess logistics dictate the dates. I already feel disconnected from the school despite still working here for the summer haha.

Whalecome back home! Man, that feeling when you love hardwork is so rewarding. I miss it haha. I'm having a bit of trouble keeping up with work in my lab thanks to convocation yesterday, getting e-mails from Toronto with updated info like once every two-three days, and going apartment hunting today. All roads point to change. Kinda exciting and nerve-inducing at the same time!

Sorry for long delay.

Enjoy school while you can. It's nice not having much responsibilities, heh.
What's your plans for after?

You've been to more places than I have in London. I ought to go there more often. Yeah, I've heard nice things about Brighton. I definitely need to get out more.

what else is on your book list?

At the moment nothing. I might read the Millennium trilogy but I've not scheduled much reading time lately due to work and exams.

not liking law school
Law school has been hard and I've been having issues outside of it too. I'm going to give my exams one final shot since I haven't got much to lose.

Haha, you're very welcome... How did you know it was me? Lol.

Thank you kind sir! :3 I just saw this comment today, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm grateful for your upload.

I only do it because I don't care.

Even working this summer I'm at low motivation because I'm thinking a lot about the fall. I know I'm supposed go keep expectations low in everything but don't blame me!

Oh you and your successful strike-outs. I'd totally write hurtful things too if the strikeouts work for me. I mean no I wouldn't. I guess you'd just have to trust me.

'ey, this club ain't my baby, and I ain't paying no child support. Although I did have a mentor in first year whom I still talk with today and he had a very positive influence on me too. We should inspire our students to be successful yo.

It was all luck that the conference is in Canada this year and a not-so-secret ploy to convince me to stay for grad studies by my prof that I was able to go. I think the higher up you are in academia, the less respect you have for the people below you just cause how hard it is nowadays to make it to that point, especially outside of the West. But I'm not a prof, so I wouldn't know.

At least your resume is good for extracurriculars thanks to all that. :P I was always "in" with the execs of my major's club and had my chances to be a part of it but I never really dabbled. The co-presidents really liked their power so I just let them do their things since they do it well enough. They've been running the show for three years now though so I'm not sure how it'll go when we leave...but it's never been my problem~

lol youve been to London, Canada?

Id assume they're literally world's apart lol
London here is small and... small lol
