Ever since seeing Alucard's design I wanted to watch this show, so I did. Overall, it was pretty solid given the fact that it came out only 4 years after the manga started. There are definitely some faults, such as the previously stated fact that the manga was still young-ish at the time. It worked well with what it had, but still fell flat in some areas given the lack of content. The characters, aside from Alucard and occasionally Seras, felt kind of bland. Alucard is definitely the reason to watch this show and possibly rewatch it. He's awesome. The art is dated yes, but
