A friend of mine recommended me this and we watched together. I recall the comments I made to him at the end went something along the lines of "there's literally nothing wrong with ReLIFE. It's just a good plot with good characters". Very soothing and wholesome. It is a bit slow at first and you kind of have no idea where the story is gonna go, but it scales very quickly on the last episodes. So if you find it a bit boring at first, my advice is to keep watching. Also watch the OVAs because that's where the story actually ends.

The story premise isn't exactly attractive at first, but throughout the anime, it ended up surprising me. While yes, I felt an uncontrollable desire to punch the MC in the face, the plot has a considerable depth to it that made me crave for more (the fact that I ended up reading the manga right after finishing the anime goes to show that).
This show has some remarkably great characters with very interesting personalities. Whether you like x character or not, there is no denying they are in some ways unique. All in all, I enjoyed every episode (some more than others) and would recommend ... |
