This is one of the weirdest anime I've ever seen... and it's right up my alley. This show gives dry and unexpected comedy while simultaneously telling a story of mystery, terror, and... individuality? This is a "found family" type beat but focuses on two twin brothers. I laughed out loud and shed a few tears watching this. It doesn't earn a 10/10 because there are some... questionable.... interactions that occur between the brothers. If you have already seen the Infinity Train/ Mugen Train movie don't bother with this train arc... it's an exact recap of the movie! While I did love the movie and give it a 10/10 (kind of rare in my case... especially seeing as I only gave the first season of Demon Slayer a 6/10... honestly Rengoku is the only saving character in this entire series & it's thanks to him I loved the movie so much)... I loved the first season and was excited to watch season two... but ultimately I did not enjoy season two as much. I appreciate that season two introduces a lot of new characters and there are several new romantic developments.... HOWEVER... the plot twist in the last episode? I really hate when girls can't follow girl code. It's one thing if it's a girl you barely know... but to go for your best friend's dude???? As someone who is bisexual, and hiding that for many years, I feel a special kind of kinship with our our main protagonist. This is a great coming-of-age anime for any queers. I was excited about this one. It seemed unlike any other anime I've seen. Let me be clear: the anime is a very slow burner. There are excellent storytelling moments that truly did creep me out. However, much of the story was boring for me- just not enough action. The art style is great and adds so much depth to the story the writer is trying to tell. The musical selections are just alright. I finally watched this anime and it was a whirlwind. I wish I'd watched it sooner and I would recommend it to others.
Housekeeping: I rated season 1 as a 9 and season 2 as an 8. Season 1 had far better soundtrack and both seasons have pretty terrible animation. Personally, I suffered through the animation for the pretty awesome story. I do appreciate that season 1 felt so... complete. Season 2 I was hoping for us to finally see Sato captured and subdued for at least a little while. At the end of season 2 I found myself really annoyed with his character.

It's been a while since I've written a review but this anime was too good not to say something about it...
Firstly, the art style is amazing. The music choices are cute and went well with the rest of the show. The characters were all enjoyable in their own way, but of course I like the main characters the most. After all, the anime is about finding out if they are in love!
