hello! to be honest this is my very first review for an anime so please go easy on me! i stumbled on this anime purely by chance and i didn't have that many expectation, probably because i was watching many other anime such as shin sekai yori, psycho-pass which had a lot of promise in them so kotoura-san didn't seem like much. however, i still gave it a try because i thought this was going to be a parody anime but it turned out to be serious, funny at times and stood out to me quite a bit and here's why:



STORY: 8

the story right from ... the summary does sound interesting enough but how they tend to present that story clearly matters. first of all, how the anime starts is what got me to watch more of this anime... to be honest it made me cry quite a bit because how this story tended to use the concept of "loneliness" and that alone makes it quite relate able and the concept of " mind reading" made it even more interesting.


ART: 7

it was quite standard... there wasn't that many things awesome about it. however, i do have to mention that how they portray the characters pasts; their sad pasts... again... reality is cruel :( .... how they used the colour gray to symbolize "loneliness" and how they shattered that colour to show how the characters developed and changed.... you have to watch it to experience it.


SOUND: 7

CHARACTERS: 9

what i loved about this anime is mostly are the characters... they are the main meat of this show and they are what makes this show a very good show... there is a lot of character development... so watch out for that ;P there were character with broken hearts and... you'll see them grow out of their sad cocoon and find true happiness and flight... even one of the supporting character.. the detective developed but i think they rushed on that... what i wanted to see more would be giving the main protagonist ; the guy and made him more interesting would have been nice too and seeing him develop would've been my pleasure but it still turned out nice... it was still amazing... the characters.

ENJOYMENT: 9

wont say much out this but i will say that it was yet another amazing experience and i want you watch it realize that too so byeee and watch it.. i recommend it

i just enjoyed it and i do not want to make you read this more so go and watch it :p
