Oh yeah and as to the structure of my list. Its a bit different. Stuff in my "Drop" list is actually media that is delogated to children or toddler shows or series that have no fansubs, so basically its a list of stuff I don't care about or stuff I can't acquire. In some cases I legemitatly drop a series, but in that case you will see a ep progression next to the show I dropped so like episodes seen 4/12 and then dropped indicates I hated the show. So I use it both as an archive to catalogue with and also as a drop list. For example There is a few series that i had on my drop list that never had any fansubs or anyway to watch but Discotec finally released and lisenced the series and then I ended up watching it in which case i removed it from my drop list and added it to my watching or complete list.
hmm not so much a weeb, I enjoy anime as an entertainment Medium, nothing more nothing less. I don't really indulge in other hobies like cosplay and conventions, etc. I do love communities like this one and others though to discuss and talk about all things anime and video games my other alternative hobby.
As to why I have watched so much, well most of it was from years past before I became a full adult and I had nothing better to do then just sit around watch anime and play games every day with my friends. Man let me tell you those were the days because everything was like a unique and new experience to you. Once you have watched as much anime as I have, it starts to wear out its welcome after a bit and stories you thought were so fascinating is more of like "been there done that". Typical Trends and over used Tropes, etc. So I envy people that can take there time more and enjoy the hobby. There is a vast ocean of anime to exlplore all of various genres, art styles, and writing. So enjoy!
