If you’ll simply take the time to read the manhua you’ll quickly discover how epic this.. I’ve read about halfway through and decided to pause to watch the anime. There’s enough content to get AT LEAST 3 seasons of anime if not more. I’ve seen others complaining about the manhua but as someone who probably read close to 1000 different ones for real and I think personally this one is great. The story progresses to a fever pitch but unfortunately I doubt we’ll get too far in this season. Let’s just all hope and pray we’ll get multiple seasons of this great story

This is the 3rd or 4th time this season that a shows episode has been so bad it makes me wanna scream.. Fate’s complete breakdown over the news from Lust was a complete joke. We’re talking about your typical male MC here which means he’ll stop the rotation of his planet before he’ll stand near, touch, speak to, or have any type of relationship with the opposite sex. So his complete breakdown and outburst once finding out the plan just seemed ridiculous. Honestly the whole thing just made me mad… the magic system in this anime along with the action has made it enjoyable for ... me up to this point. Having their romance (which as I’ll say again, is on the level of second graders) as a subplot never really counted as Fate wouldn’t make a move if there were guns and knives pointing at his head.. hopefully they will right the ship next episode but at this point I just hope Roxy can survive long enough to find a man who’ll give her the love and affection she deserves cause god know Fate isn’t capable of it.. he’s 5 years old

A new twist on a story as old as anime itself. I don’t really understand a lot of the negative reviews (even though if you spend any time in this app you quickly learn it’s the same people over and over negatively reviewing anime as if they get paid to do so.. if you dislike EVERY anime you watch then do us all a favor and stop watching lol) as both the MC’s are likeable with Runa being about as sweet/kind as a female mc can be. My biggest grip here is that there are too many factors constantly working against them. Mainly Ryuu’s entire ... friend/childhood friend base. I believe that this could have taken I slightly different turn if so. Regardless it’s fun to watch and at the end of the day that’s WHY we watch them.. 7/10

I’m not going to write a long winded silly review explaining plots and tropes.. to me season one was some of the best story telling we’ve had for awhile with some fresh takes on magic and power.. I would recommend it to anyone. Season 2 however has the entire franchise on the edge of a knife. Cids complete and utter disregard for the girls who’ve given EVERYTHING of themselves is jaw dropping. The next couple episodes with either makes this a masterpiece or completely ruin everything this series has achieved.. Regardless I really don’t see how he and alpha ever reconcile and to be honest ... a large part of me hates his guts right now.. he’s a child with godlike powers playing with the lives of the people he loved him … FOR FUN..

Look, if those of you creating this genre truly struggled like this in you adolescent/young adult life than I truly apologize for you having to go through that. Truly.. but 90% of us don’t. I mean call me crazy but the entire concept of “I’m just not good enough” has been done to DEATH. But hey, that’s not good enough so let’s go a step further.. I’m so not good enough that the best thing I can do for the person I care about is to stay as far away from them as possible… WTF?! It would have ... honestly been better had he climbed up to the roof and jumped off to be isekai’d to another world where he can find a shred of self respect.. overall this entire summer lineup is pretty damn weak.. look, I love romance anime in just about every form (not big on the overly sad ones even though most are are super good but I don’t wanna be sad lol) but for the love of god give me some MC’s who can actually voice their desires and feelings. No one wants to see people freaking out due to a member of the opposite sex saying their name or touching them. Give us someone who knows what they want and how they’re willing to move heaven and earth to get it! It’s just not that hard. I’m not a fan of overly cocky or arrogant MC’s but if I gotta choose then I’ll take cocky/arrogant over someone who believes their existence is just too bothersome to the person they care about.. I mean have some self respect for goodness sake..
