The humor is soooooo fucking insufferable. Really. Who is the target audience of this, I suppose it's meant to fully commit to the shounen genre and younger audiences or something? It's just awkwardly stuck into situations where there's absolutely no place for it, ruining the atmosphere completely. A fight for life and death? Uhh yeah let's stick a gag into there so the viewer doesn't stand a chance of being invested in the story.
The fights are okay graphically, or action-wise, but the realism. God. So much plot shield. So much plot-making-someone-get-away. So sad this is the version that covers the entirety of the manga.

I originally watched it in 2016, when it came out while waiting for the second season of Shingeki no Kyojin. Perhaps the only thing that stands out in this anime is it's art. Other than that, I view it as a poorly written SnK clone made solely to capitalize on it's success. The characters are mediocre at best and lack any depth to the. The story is basically an "I want to kill all *insert the enemy here*" SnK ripoff and severely lacks in novelty. If you like flashy fights with not much of a story to focus on, then I guess it's for you.

A sequel to a classic title among anime fans. This season provides at least some answers to the questions a viewer of the former season might've asked themselves. It also manages to develop previously omitted characters we've met along the first season, as well as develop relationships between them. Although I often found myself enjoying the show, mostly due to the fact that it's an another installment of Shingeki no Kyojin as a whole, it certainly lacks some qualities in comparison to the prequel.
