I watched this show months ago when I saw that its S2 P2 was booming up. Tbh I wasn't expecting anything much of it, kept my expectations to a 7 or a 6.5 but this was far better than I expected. I am a sucker for Slice of Life & Action and this anime had a perfect mixture of these two genres.

The story seemed bland in the first few eps but as new characters kept getting introduced the story kept getting interesting, loved the introduction of Ifrit the Fire Spirit. Veldora felt forgotten throughout the season after the starting eps.

I quite ... loved Rimuru's character, I enjoyed the laid back & casualness in his character. Also his coldness which is displayed in this season a bit was kinda badass I guess?

The OP and the ED are extremely underrated. Especially the art in them. The OSTs were cool, in a few places the OST felt quite weird coz the OST didn't go well with the scene.

Possible Major Spoilers Ahead :

The Charybdis Arc was the best in this season. The introduction of Milim Nava didn't go quite well. At first it seemed as if she was an underling of Clayman's but in fact she was far superior than him. Didn't find this as a major flaw but felt that I should point it out.

Things I would have loved to be there :

- Hints towards Diablo's introduction
- Better build up towards the War
- Starting few eps have a bit slower pacing. Things felt quite rushed in the start.
- Better mix of OST and scene

Overall a season better than my expectations, just flaws are starting and the OST and scene mixture. I recommend it to you if you have gotten burnout of serious stuff or just wanna watch something causal.
