Monogatari can be watched in it's original airing order or by chronological without much confusion. But you're mostly likely to be a tad confused if you do go by airing order unless you have a good memory. It's not really a big deal though tbh.

If you want to go by chronological well, even that confuses me from time to time lol. I can help give you the order for the most part if you do want to watch it that way, regardless of how tedious it can be.

That's fine lol and it depends really. You would just have to watch it yourself, I can't really say if it's worth it cause it'd be bias coming from me. I guess if you can endure long conversations, quick scenes and it's odd presentation style, you might end up liking it.
