Anyway I really need to check out actual LTS... If TK is good then a whole band will probably only be even better :P

You have lots and lots of favorite bands, that's pretty awesome! I don't know if you're the same, but personally, no matter how much I love a song or a band, I always have to find more "new" music every now and then otherwise I get bored ^^' Also, it makes coming back to old favorites all the more fun, so it's a win-win situation... well, at least for me it is anyway XD

As far as Tokyo Ghoul is concerned, I've heard some mixed reviews about it so I haven't bothered to check it out. Furthermore, the whole premise involving ghouls is not something I'm particularly interested in... I can take a bit of blood in an anime but I'm not a fan of gore, cannibalism or anything of the sort so I guess I've always been slightly scared of watching it too XD

Sadly, there are lots of crappy anime that people seem to enjoy and Tokyo Ghoul is probably far from being the worst one... Personally, I don't understand why so many people are obsessed with stuff like Sword Art Online or Owari no Seraph... And even "masterpieces" like Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso count as extremely overrated in my book, but that's a different story... At the end of the day we all have different tastes in everything from anime to music and I totally respect that. Our personal tastes don't make us any better or worse as people, and really, they're just that - personal tastes.

Back on topic, I've definitely heard of Linkin Park, Coldplay, Nirvana, etc. and must agree that they're pretty good. Not what I would listen to every single day, but nevertheless really good stuff.

On the other hand, Nisekoi 2 is definitely far from being good stuff... Sorry, I know this is pretty random but I just finished watching it and can't help but feel pretty disappointed. I know I'm starting to sound like I hate every show I watch, but that's definitely not the case. I love anime, it's just really hard to find all the amazing ones every now and then. I guess that means I just need to watch more ;P

As far as music goes, I listen to a bit of everything. There are lots of anime openings and endings I enjoy, but my top three actual musicians/bands would be BRADIO (funky and upbeat), Kalafina (a mix of modern, classical, rock, new age and just basically everything) and TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (rock, post-rock, etc.)

Interestingly, all three of those have very different styles and just like you're surprised that you like Coldrain I'm also surprised I enjoy TK's music. Normally I would never listen to such intense rock (well at leas it's a bit intense for me XD) and I find his vocals a bit strange, but the music is just awesome. The fact that it's also a mix of beautiful music with sometimes not-so-beautiful singing just really fascinates me. (Fun fact: I've never seen Tokyo Ghoul even though I really love "Unravel" and "Glassy Sky" which are songs from that show).

As far as non-anime or non-Japanese music is concerned, I listen to some k-pop sometimes (but I'm not a crazy fan at all) and mostly French music. I could name dozens of French artists I like but most of them are not well-known internationally. Perhaps the most famous one would be Stromae (though he is actually Belgian and uses a mix of electronic and African beats).

The only "normal" or more pop-like artists I listen to would probably be Melanie Martinez and Marina and the Diamonds. Again, they are not the most well-known in the world, but they both have their own unique and distinct styles as well as powerful lyrics.

Sorry if I got somewhat carried away ^^' I really love music and since I listen so many different styles from so many different artists, I could probably go on forever, but anyway...

How about you? What other kind of music do you enjoy besides BRADIO and Coldrain?

PS: I think I need to check out Coldrain since I've never heard of them before. I'm not particularly into metalcore, but hey, I'm open to everything :D

I also think that Mamoru Miyano is super talented :) He brings life to so many different characters yet his voice is always still recognizable, it's like listening to an old friend or something :P

As for Bradio, my favorite song is probably Golden Liar. My second one would be "Kanjou Literacy" (don't know how to spell it with kanji). I wasn't that impressed with their latest album (which just came out a few weeks ago) but their older songs are amazing. Hopefully they'll keep making more and will get even better with time =)

Of course everyone on here more or less loves anime, but not everyone loves BRADIO so I love finding people who enjoy their music too ^^
