TLC's Sister Wives was a better love story than this. Which makes me wonder if whoever wrote In Another World dabbles in a little TLC viewership. I mean, I don't really like or dislike harems, but this was just really cringey to watch. Mega crazy powerful for no reason MC gets everything handed to him for being... mega crazy powerful. Every. Episode. I have nothing notable to say about the story, characters, art work or sound that hasn't already been majorly flogged by every other reviewer.

Haven't felt this good after finishing a show in a while.
The entire story was incredibly saddening, but also very warm. You get a lot of information, so much so that I'm not left with any questions, but just content. Each character was unique and their back stories even more. Amazing art and designs are used to tell the story in a lot of scenes and was very enjoyable to watch and figure out what it all meant. The soundtrack basically gave me life. They used the same few songs, but changed the arrangement to fit the mood which was really nice and gave all the ...

This show was like a roller coaster getting to the drop off point and then just rolling backwards at what felt like an eternity. The first episode I thought was personally the best episode and pulled all the right stops and had all the cool twists. After that everything seemed bland. It seemed like all the plot twists were there and with good timings, but just fell really short - as well as the story and how it progressed and the route it took. No real plot and the characters for the most part were very average and random, only learning very little about a few and not really understanding their purpose. The ending I think would satisfy just about anyone, but you're still left feeling very, "ah, oh well... I guess on to the next."
The art on the other hand I really enjoyed, mostly just the background imagery though. I thought the school was really well designed and didn't have that typical feel which was nice. Although I don't know how I felt about the weird bangs. Hopefully you will see what I mean about that because ... |
