When it comes to starting out watching anime this is definitely one I would recommend.

Erased is one of those short animes you can finish in basically a day or less, the first episode hooks you from the start, main is sort of depressed and isn't doing well in his normal life but has some sort of power which is that of "revival" a thing as far as we know only he has where he has to save someone from something bad happening around him which is a really cool concept but not very detailed explained.
This story has time travel and you see main travel back to his youth and into a future a few times its a really nice setting because he actually changes alot in his old timeline which helps him in his new timline near the end.
Side note before I go any further, the opening for this anime has to be one of the best most catchy most detailed openings that shows you certain things happening as the story progresses and how one of the openings changes in episode 11 of the show.
The characters and animation are really something to behold, each one having a bit of screen time as it goes forward from mains friend to his mom to the secondary main character and to even the villain of the show.
One thing that I disliked is how much they changed from the manga to make this show work, the show makes the villain more obvious and gives certain characters less screen time then they deserved from the manga and even switching certain characters roles or cutting out whole sections entirely, I highly suggest watching Netflix's live action adaption of erased because it adds more from the manag and has 30 min episodes rather then just 24 for the anime.
Overall I give erased a solid 10/10 this is my absolute favouite anime and I loved how they adapted it and even ended it, I won't say it doesn't have flaws but it is one of those animes you have to just give a try and see if the first episode hooks you like it did for me.

The general concept of this anime doesn't really appeal to me all that well but it appeared on Netflix a very long time ago and I thought I'd give it a chance.
It has its moments which can be nice and the art style I enjoyed as well but the characters were sort of bland and sort of basic. The Story was okay but also a bit ahead of itself, it had funny moments of course but just the concept of main just doing a bunch of stuff with random guys wasn't really it for me. Overall rating is a 4/10 the art style was really nice ... Mar 23, 2021

This was one of the very first animes I watched after completing angel beats, I didn't know at the time the type of anime it was and was sort of confused a bit. Without detailing it as much as possible a group of friends use to always hang out together and a tragic accident happened to a girl that was super close to the main character and loses her life, years later after the group has gone their separate ways the girl reappears as a spirit that only the main character can see and the story revolves around trying to get ... So we start off with a question, when we die where do we go if we have regrets or hardships we haven't overcame? Well this story revolves around a group of individuals who have all passed away and wound up in this school type setting and have to work together to basically move on and live again. The story follows a character who lost his memory, he doesn't know how he died or why and a few episodes of the show go to that character figuring out what happened to them and after that wants to help everyone overcome their hardships and essentially ... So where do I begin, they say this anime is the game of thrones of basically anime, first and foremost, most of each and every character is unique, and pretty likeable in a sense, but once you continue watching you'll see why people call it that. Characters die left and right. And that's okay if you are trying to make an intriguing story which is what they were going for in a sense at the time, I think alot of people would have preferred a better conclusion to this anime then following how the manga actually went but to each their own on that ... **REVIEW FOR BOTH FIRST AND SECOND SEASON**
So when I initially found out about this series I casually added it to my list on Netflix without really diving deep into the subject of how it would be. Many months later I get home from work and put it on, let me tell you one thing, this anime has some really unique and beautiful style to it, you usually don't see in other anime, plus the opening and animation is really cute and just has an overall cheerful welcoming feel to it. So first off I knew nothing about this series or what it was even about, ... |
