My hero academia is in my opinion the greatest Shonen story of all time, it's certainly not my favourite but I believe everyone should give this Masterpiece of a manga a chance.
The art is slightly lacking but the individual characters and personalities of the class 1A make a for a very enjoyable experience. It does lots of things right, like story motivation, Deku's motivation to become a great hero is not that far out like Goku's motivation to become the strongest in the Universe. Honestly the best mecha show ever! Probably one of the best anime with the likes of Neon Genesis Evangelion and cowboy bebop. The simple story can be explored by the well-written characters and the brilliant art from Hiroyuki Imaishi.
If you like Gurren Lagann check out other studio trigger works like Darling in the Franxx and Kill la kill (don't watch kill la kill with parents.) Personally, I would watch it dubbed as dub is good because it is so satisfying to hear 'WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE' in the dub as it sounds so fluid.
