A good movie, still not as good as Film Gold and Z. The pacing felt rushed, the story felt a bit bland and entirely emotional only at the ending part. Expected more considering Stampede doesn't actually have a story but more of a character's revisit episode...and Film Red in the other hand felt like a filler episode that got a movie quality treatment. Really hope Oda could grasp back his old writing skills, as even the recent manga chapters also felt just not as impressive as the old days.

Oh and in term of animation and music/soundtracks wise, this movie is a banger. Definity a ... watch if you prioritize this more over the story.

Love it. Story wise, it is very well constructed. No cliche, no generic moment and more importantly no no-brainer moment. The only complain regarding the story is its pacing, which i think a bit too fast. I think this anime could done better if lengthen a bit, maybe a 12 or 13 eps.

Other than that, the graphic and animation are great, not as marvelous as other Trigger products but still, for an anime adaptation of a video game, and also for an anime project by Netflix, it is way exceeding my expectation.

Definitely recommended to everyone...(except underage and any religious person that watch anime ... for some reason)

This anime is far more intense than watching a real volleyball match. That far I can guarantee. The story was so so good, the animation is perfectly executed for a sport anime and the sound effects were so realistic. Not gonna lie, this anime deserve its good reputation and deserve more hype.
At first, I was this kind of person which was skeptical about any anime about sport, because I used to think that sport anime must be unrealistic and too saturated with action-like experience. But nope, I was wrong. Just after I finish watching this masterpiece, I found myself seeking more sport genre anime.

Trust ... me, this anime is just so so good and we need more like it.

The anime might was overrated but not overrated mean they're bad. This anime deserve the hype more than Demon Slayer in my opinion.

The animation was movie level, the story was great and the character designs are badass (especially Gojou). Even the opening/ending are so good.

The anime isnt masterpiece level yet but so far, there seems to be no downside or lackluster found from the anime. So no complain can be found. Even if there is, it might depend on each individual preferences.

Looking forward for the announced movie. Hope it didnt get delayed as long as Demon Slayer...

The concept was great, the action was great, the character design was interesting and the overall story was interesting.

The only thing i hate is the ending and how the story make the mc look dumb too much. For a 50 eps series, I was expecting a proper satisfying ending but nope, its the otherwise. So much things left unexplained and the last episode look so rushed.

I know the story was intended to show how dumb kids during their transition into teenagershood, but this is too much and just wasting of plot for more important part of the story. Look how 50 eps wasnt enough ... because time wasted just to make mc look extra dumb.

"MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILER"

Lets be real, the high rating is just because there's a girls crying scene and a sad music background. Almost all anime movie is like that, when both of these come together, boom high rating. This just proved how easy human can be deceived by mere implications.

As for a person like me who prioritize a good story above everything else, the story has a lot of flaws. Not gonna spoil anything much but its a basic knowledge that everyone should know, if manipulating timeline is possible, even a single take of breath difference could cause an entire new different timeline from what it ... suppose to be. But in this movie, it seems science doesnt work well, maybe just to favor the story and to make it easier for viewers to understand the story. Steins Gate is the only anime so far that make a good explanation about how time work.

Then, I hate how the first thing the MC thought after her first accident was she already know she travelled back time. Let's be real, if this happen in reality, to us, then the first thing we should probably think of suppose to be like "did I just see a bad thing of what happen if I being careless" or something. In other word, its doesn't make sense especially for a school girl to suddenly thought of an idea of time-travelled by seeing that.

Lastly, the ending. I know its a trend leaving a cliffhanger ending where it was intended so that we could figure it out the possible future ourselves. But this movie arent suppose to do so because unlike any other movie, this movie lack details and explanation enough for us to accept the ending. At least, the movie should include a short 5 secs post credit scenes explaining what era did the man meant or just who is MC's aunt. With scientifically flawed the story logic + insufficient details, it just made the story ending so worthless for us to solve or keep it as sweet memory. Bet after 2-3 days finished watching, this movie will be just a movie title in my head, not as a sweet memory that worth recalling.

That's it. Im not saying the story is bad but above 8 rating just proved how less people care about a good, defined story.

Nothing bad but also nothing so special about this whole series. Its good and thats it. Unlike any other shonen series, MHA story felt too plain and simple. Maybe its only my preference to like anime with complex and deep story but MHA in term of story didnt intrigue me much.

But not gonna lie the animation is dope and soundtracks used were really awesome and match the situation. OP/ED is also synced well with the story theme. I can say for now MHA has the chance to be the new face of new generation shonen series but no doubt that it still nowhere close ... to overtake the Big 3 throne.

But im still looking forward to it.

One Piece....an anime I was so hesitant to watch for a very very long time, but now here i am writing a review about it meaning ive successfully catchup with the series (actually i catchup with the series almost 3 years ago).

One Piece, an anime with a diamond solid fanbase ever since 1999 and manage to keep growing until this day. Also among the shonen title with lowest new watcher but somehow also the lowest to have "dropped" rate, which mean most people cant escape One Piece rabbit hole. To put it simple, One Piece is addictive.

Lets look at One Piece as a whole ... again. In term of originality, none.....not a single anime One Piece story concept is derived from and not a single anime take One Piece as inspiration from. In other word, One Piece is the most unique and original anime ever existed until this very day, yes since 1998. Cant find any other anime with the pirate concept or having the same character design as One Piece does etc. One Piece was simply built different.

But believe me, that is not the strongest point for watching One Piece. The strongest point or reason why so many trapped in One Piece rabbit hole is simply because of its "story". Naruto might have cool flashy fight scenes, Dragon Ball have their Sci-Fi diverse universe, Bleach have their cool looking character design and power...but lets admit none of this is as important as a good story. And there's One Piece which suck at most of these parts but exceeding in story perspective. Some might say the story pace is so slow and some might say the story is too frickin long. That obviously mean they dont even attempt to watch One Piece yet. Little did they know that for us who catched up with the latest eps regret watching One Piece so fast and now worried that the series will end sooner.

To show how addictive and great One Piece is, unlike other anime where fans are looking forward for their fav anime ending, One Piece fans in the other hand wish for another thousand episodes. Just to show how desperate fans dont want the series to end because it is so dang good.

Gigguk once said : "If you really like something, do you want it to end sooner or wish it to last like forever?"

Thats One Piece is.

For me, as a big shonen fan to describe BC is just not that bad but simply disappointing. Dont get me wrong, maybe I put too high expectation for this anime to replace the older shonen series but welp..... Like from the first 10 eps we can already see that BC is just a mixture of a lot of anime....from story perspective, character design, power concept, everything is derived obviously from other anime. I cant even unsee that Asta is just Hinata from Haikyuu but with white hair. This alone show how unoriginal the series is.

Im not saying the story is completely bad. After eps ... 80 or something, the story does get better and better but still....it is still far far away to compete against the other shonen titles especially the Big 3. I would say BC is good, only to the eyes of those who havent watch real shonen titles like One Piece, HxH and Naruto (not Boruto).

To conclude, if you're someone who doesnt care much about story quality like I do, then Black Clover might be perfect for you. But for me who value story quality the most, BC are lacking so much about that.
