-Both shows take place in a lighthearted medieval setting. -The art, especially the backgrounds, looks very similar in the two shows -Both female MCs are people who come to another country to meet the male MC and both have a unique trait/talent -Both male MCs are part of the royal family, though one is king and one is a prince -Both have romance as a large part of their show If, you liked Akagami, you'll love Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii. It's all around better and has a more mature storyline and more lovable characters.

...then you might like Mirai Nikki (TV) add

Both shows revolve around the future of the world/country placed in the cell phones of 12 random people. Higashi no Eden came first and is the superior series, however.
