For all the losing/tragic heroine fans out there, this one is for you, we finally have our hero.
~~~~~ Story/Plot 8/10 ~~~~~
* The flow of the story from episode to episode is magnificent, it meshes everything together with no filler episodes.
* Unique in its own right, we don't get a lot of animes where the 2nd female lead becomes the star of the show.
* Although a little bit melodramatic and predictable in some parts, it's not boring.
...
* I love how the romance side of this is not rushed. Slowly but surely is the only way.
* The comedy is refreshing and fun to watch, it's not forced or anything.
* The troupes are there, like ecchi/fan services and awkward moments, but it's not overly done to a point where it gets absurd and boring, it's close to a high school reality setting, where everyone is just being young and stupid, figuring and sorting their feelings. It's quite relatable for young minds such as myself. 🤭
* This is a well-thought-out story that you might enjoy to the end.
* Though not possible, hopefully, this won't end up in a harem situation, because that would be disappointing.
~~~~~ Art/Animation 8/10 ~~~~~
* Style is likable, not too cartoonish, a good balance between 2D and reality, simple and not overly realistic.
* The Author and the studio who made this did a good job, although the design is not quite memorable, it's good, but not the type that will linger in your dreams.
* You'll know what kind of character each and everyone has by the design alone, they did a good job of showing it and they don't look all the same, even the background characters, they have their unique features, which is quite rare nowadays.
* For a rom-com, the art fits quite perfectly for the story.
* The art is maintained quite well throughout the episodes, they have quite the budget.
* As for the background, it's picturesque, hopefully, they do more scenes with beautiful scenery, and not just the school alone.
~~~~~ Sound/OST/OP&ED 8/10 ~~~~~
* The VAs for this anime did a good job of giving life to the characters they portray.
* The background music fits every scene, which helps to capture the moment, making it more dramatic.
* OST/OP&EDs are quite good, it's jolly, upbeat and fun, and they bring out the essence of the whole anime.
~~~~~ Characters 8/10~~~~~
* Not gonna spoil much.
* MC gives off Hachiman vibes at first, but he's not that kind of person.
* All characters are loveable and maybe relatable for some of you.
* Would've been better if there were antagonists/third parties mixed in to make things spicy, but none so far.
* FMC is eye-catching, to say the least.
* That's all for now.
~~~~~ Enjoyment 7/10 ~~~~~
* Personally speaking, I didn't quite relate, so it's not gonna be a memorable experience for me, because I'm not the anime's target audience which is for teens and young adults. I'm not young or in high school, I'm quite the uncle so I don't get that tingling feeling anymore like I used to, watching romcoms back then.
Right now I'm more into heavy stuff like; mystery/drama/action/gore/horror/adult/18+/etc., categories. My taste buds changed over time which is quite sad.
But don't worry, I know a good romcom anime when I see one. Hehe. So I know you'll enjoy this and hopefully, you'll give this one a try.
Oh! A simp driven story, here it goes.
Story: Will Simp Serfort, a magic less 16 year old boy dreams to become a great magician (magia vander) with a sword instead of a wand, just so he could reunite and be lovey-dovey with his childhood friend/crush AND WATCH THE SUNSET TOGETHER!!!! WTF!?
No wonder the professors and the other students who have actual dreams of becoming something meaningful in their pathetic lives are mad at him. Naruto and Asta would be ashamed.
His actions would be understandable if the female protagonist is in grave danger waiting to be saved, but no, she's sitting pretty atop a
...
tower like a princess waiting for her simp knight on a date!
The author could learn a thing or two from Subaru Natsuki or Guts.
The set-up is good; underdog mc, the childhood friend, the childhood promise, the academy, the bullying, the looming danger, antagonists that you would actually hate, friends, etc., but, the only concern is the main character's drive ~ he's a certified simp. 🤦♂️
It hurts to watch female side characters who has more character development, who will give their all, who would sacrifice for a simp that won't even look their way. At least our virgin boy Bell Cranel is a ladies man.
Hopefully, still, the story would turn into something good, given that it's not finished yet, if he could just change his dreams and aspirations to be more meaningful as he grows older.
For now, lets give him the benefit of a doubt because he's still quite young.
2/10 depends on the outcome.
Characters: the story is too early for me to judge, except for simp mc.
Art: loved it, the character designs, the background, the fluidity, it's good in it's own way.
8/10
Music: So so..
7/10
Overall: Meh, enjoyed the first episode, but after his declaration that he's a certified simp in the second episode, I suddenly lost interest.
3/10. I don't even know if I'll continue this.
Oh wow, got some mixed feelings for this one. Okay time for the review.
Story: After watching the whole show from seasons 1 and 2, quite honestly, it was a huge let down, expectations unquenched, too edgy and cringe most of the time.
The whole plot revolves around an insanely powerful super virgin edge lord protagonist with his antics and his army of women that do his bidding, that was it. He doesn't even have to struggle, which made it hard to relate and root for him. At least add some more twists to the story! dagnamit!
Overused plot, no originality, too bland. The comedy and
...
drama was mediocre and unappealing. Maybe some people might find this story good, but oh well, each to their own.
Characters: Mc is hopelessly a lost cause, I mean, what's there to improve? They made sure to make him perfect from the beginning, all he does is flawless, he's practically a god at this point. At least Saitama had a weakness. And no notable side characters either.
Art: Yes, it was really good. The art and animation is the only redeemable aspect from this.
Sound: Was okay.
Overall: Enjoyed the first episode, and the rest was just endless pain and suffering.
I give this a 7/10.
Oh wow, I didn't expect this to be good? Okay, time for my honest and unbiased review. It's been awhile since I posted one.
Story: although the plot was generic, but it wasn't quite that boring, since we all love recycled stuff. You can see those plots being used over and over again through movies, animes, etc,. But we still dig and enjoy it. Truthfully, it's hard to find a unique story out of all the countless stories that are already out there and it's all been regurgitated through these main categories; Action, Drama, Adventure, and Romance. The author made such good use of these plots
...
that makes this anime quite unique on its own and surprisingly it left me at the edge of my seat on some scenes. The beginning was quite meh, but give it a shot peeps, it gets crazy after a few episodes that will hook you towards the end. ; )
And so I would give the story a solid 7/10
Art: the animation was okay, and art was good but it wasn't consistent. There are some parts that are gruesome and funny to look at (saved a few screen shots myself xD). Though it's a far cry compared to new gen animes out there, it's quite decent.
I would give it a 7/10
Sound: honestly, my tastes for sound isn't the same because of some anime I saw long ago that got stuck with me through out the years (not gonna name it). I made that anime as the basis for my judgement and critique for sound all in all. There is an episode in this anime where the villains were talking about revenge and with a little bit of drama mixed in and they put a bg music inappropriate for that scene and it didn't sit well with me, had to pause and take a break xD. Bg music like that should only be reserved for intimate moments with the main characters.
So, 6/10
Enjoyment: though it had some shortcomings, I did enjoy it. But don't take my word for it because we all have different tastes.
7/10
Over all, I would give it a solid 7/10
Hmmm, what to say, it's been a while since i made a review, so here it goes. It's more like a rant rather than a review i guess. Sorry for this, but I'm gonna go with the rant first.
Well, what could I say, but, what a waste of good art and animation on a bad story.
After I watched the first episode, I cringed hard. They could've at least added more depth to the main character's background, making his story much more compelling, building the foundations, reasons, factors as to why he acts like that, justifying his words and actions.
His story would've had more meaning if
...
he came from a poor family, with a difficult life, living in a shabby home, with a dead beat dad and an abusive mom, and gaming is his only outlet for his frustrations, relatable right? You know this, i know you do.
Zero to hero plot would most likely fit, because, it is about how to win in life coming of age story, as an underdog, right? Or am I wrong? I guess, it's just one of those cliche Rom-Coms huh? So no need for all that bs.
I don't know about you guys but for me, this seems lacking, like most tasteless Rom-Coms out there and it's getting kinda boring to watch those shows. It has the potential to be great tho. Zero to hero Rom-Com style, which is pretty unusual and interesting. I guess i expected too much.
Now for the actual review.
Story: 5/10 - could have been great, if they gave much thought.
Art: 9/10 - I have to admit, character designs are beautiful. The animation is good.
Sound: 6/10 - Eh, so so.
Characters: 5/10 - character developments are flawed, the first impression that left a bad taste in my mouth was the heroine acting friendly at first, then all of a sudden has a bitchy attitude and then friendly again, like make up your mind! As for the protagonist, i dunno what's his problem, he just suddenly felt like he was the most unluckiest person in the world, for no apparent reason, and blurted out cringeworthy stuff.
Enjoyment: 6/10 - did I enjoy watching this? Certain aspects of it, yes.
Overall: 7/10 - pretty generous of me right? Lol. Well, at the end of the day, my opinions, doesn't matter, it's up to you guys to decide
Ciao!
Wow, haha. You know I never expected this to be so good.
At first it was hard for me to comprehend and thought that I would drop this after a few episodes, but, boy I was so wrong!
Story: 9/10
This anime is based on a fantasy with a bit of mystery into it.
The story takes place in a desolate world where the last remaining humans live inside a huge moving city, I know it sounds like a rip-off to some movie, but believe me, there is nothing quite like it.
Here, for centuries unkown, they fight off monsters alongside with other "beings" that help alongside them.
Amongst this chaos
...
was a little girl filled with enthusiasm and a mysterious middle age man. Their meeting would ultimately change their fates and ultimately the fate of humanity itself.
You must find out what would happen next! I won't spoil this beautiful anime.
The story is just beautiful, no cliches, no fillers and mostly, no unnecessary drama.
The flow of the entire anime feels like watching a really good movie.
And oh, btw, there are some tear-jerking moments in this, for that I suggest watching it in the English dub version, so that, you will see and feel the emotion from the characters more clearly.
Damn the English actors really did deliver!
Art: 9/10
Art is damn good, from character designs to monsters to animation to backgrounds, it is by far one of the best animation quality I have ever seen! NOPE there are no cheap CGI's here people! And oh did I mention cute chibi characters? Yes there is!
Sound: 8/10
I really don't pay any attention to music, but, it is.... Eargasmic! (I don't know if that's a word).
Character: 9/10
Wow! Just wow! The main characters, especially, the Male lead character have this shroud of mystery on him that really attracts your attention.
The Female lead character is also quite relatable, she is surprisingly not annoying like other female leads.
She is enthusiastically strong willed and also quite vulnerable and that makes you wanna love and adore her even more and say; we must PROTECC this thot! I mean girl!
Side characters are there, adding to the plot, doing what they do best to support! And they did a pretty damn good job by not overshadowing the two main characters. Yes! There are no back stories to other chars because it would side track and ruin the whole show! The character development is very good!
Enjoyment: 10/10
It's been quite a while since I've felt joy watching an Anime.
This one really delivered the feels and thrills all the way.
I am quite happy and humbled to see such gem.
And also quite sad that it's so damn short! But still I was charmed by it.
Overall: 9/10
I definitely recommend this to anyone, this is one of those rare underrated animes out there that needs to be exposed and should shine.
I really love it, this is definitely one of my top 20 really damn good anime list.
For the creators and all the people behind this Anime, I say again, I am quite humbled and thankful for your hard work for making such beautiful creation! You have truly blessed us! You guys are the reason why I love Anime! Without you, the world would definitely be not the same.
That's it for my review! Hopefully a lot of people would read this and check this anime out! May Anime god bless you on your quest for gems! Bye!
Wow, for the past 2 years I've been searching for gems and I cannot believe my self I let this one slip under my nose. Shame on me. I fail as a treasure hunter.
The mystery is definitely there, and that is what caught my attention from the first episode.
I read a review about this by someone, comparing this to Scoobeedoo? He/she clearly didn't have the IQ to see how intricate the story is, how deep the meaning behind those words, how clever the plot and how wonderful the execution. He listened but he clearly didn't understand. Like for example the case about Leviathan, it was
...
investigated by Kujuo and Avril that there were Africans slaves during that time and disappeared suddenly. The grave keeper said to them when he was a kid he saw someone run across him and it was dark so he didn't see and he thought it was a ghost. He didn't realize it was actually a person who crawled out from the grave, that fact alone being malnourished almost dead and with a dark skin would automatically look like something else in the dark. All the facts ans evidence was there so the genius kid put it together piece by piece with her talent and voile! That reviewer who reviewed this has an IQ of scoobeedoo level, like 9, 9 for kindergarten.
So lets go for the actual unbiased review!
Story:
I love mystery, I love thrill, I love action, a little bit of romance and drama. This has the perfect mix of it all. Not too slow not too fast. Everything is connected. It's a 9/10 for me.
Art:
The art is wonderful, background designs are detailed, the character's designs don't look the same that's a big plus, considering it was created by Bones you'd expect greatness. However both the main character's designs doesn't suit my taste, I like it a little bit more mature looking although I understand it was created to suit the plot and their actual age, but, it's too much loli for me. So it's a 8/10. Cornilia didn't age one bit!
Sound:
I'm not much of a sound person, but, when I do hear something good I will listen to it over and over again. This one didn't leave any impression so I skipped it after I heard it on the first episode. 5/10.
Character:
This anime has one of the best and most dramatic character developments I have ever seen especially for the FMC and her masochistic brother. 8/10
Enjoyment:
Well, I binged it, pretty rare for me to binge something these days coz of a busy schedule. So yeah I enjoyed it 9/10.
Overall:
It was a dammmm gooooood Anime, what a gem, a masterpiece!
I really don't get why a lot of people think highly of this anime, like it's some kind of a master piece in the Romance category. I mean come on, there's a lot of well written stories out there. And I can name a few. For example like Re:Life, Noragami, Saekano, Bakemonogatari, Golden time, SukaSuka, Steins Gate, Clannad, Suzumiya, Your Lie in April, Angel Beats etc. And these mentioned Animes are guaranteed to make your heart beat stop and these are only a few out of the vast majority of hidden gems in the romance/drama/highschool category that are still waiting to be discovered.
...
I'm just saying to widen your horizons and search for hidden treasures. 😁
Well enough with the chit-chat shall we! And let us review this if this Anime really deserves such high scores and high praises. It's been a while since I wrote a review I must say. Well....
Story:
Hmmm... The story, it's about a highschool boy who has full of negativity like he doesn't wanna do this and doesn't wanna do that cause it's a waste of time and energy blah3x. Especially being social/friendly towards other people, he genuinely thinks affection and having relationships are all in the head and people are just delusional. Think about psycho 😁. And pretty much because of that attitude he's a loner and shunned by the whole class (No, the whole world!) which is actually a convenience for him coz he doesn't want to be bothered at all, he's like "yeah! You f*cks better stay the f*ck away from me coz I'm more mature than you guys, I've been their done that I've got lots of experience none of you sh*ts are on my level of thinking* yeah pretty much like a narcissist would say. Until, one day sh*ts about to turn his world upside down by joining a club who's sole purpose is SOCIAL WORK his worst f*cking nightmare. Joined by two beautiful waifus, they set on a journey to make not complicated things complicated. That's about it. 🤣🤣🤣
Well... Honestly, the story and how it was written, didn't quite have that huge impact on me. I mean, I literally put it on hold for quite a while before finishing it all up, for me it doesn't have that factor that makes you wanna binge it all in one night. Well for the sake of other new comers it is quite good, but not that quite. Hachiman (the protag) some may relate to him, but I can't. So there's a little bit of cringe while watching it. Well for the sake of others, for me maybe because I'm not a teen anymore so my tastes are a little bit off when it comes to highschool romance so I'm a little bit biased on this one. I dunno... What do you think?
Art:
The Art is good on this one actually, I like how they design the characters based on their personalities. Hachiman with his personality has this dead fish look on his face, second FMC has bright personality so her character is also bright with colors and such and the main FMC I like her design the most with long black hair, sharp eyes slender body are key ingredients to make one hell of a waifu. For me tho. It's my fetish. 🤣
Sound:
Naaah.... Who cares about the sound I just skip it like most of us do! Now don't act like Pilate on me now! I know your guilty! 🤣
Character:
I dunno what to say... My brains all dried up. I'll just answer this dumb question.... for me who's my best character in the anime? None. Sorry. 😁
Enjoyment:
Ha! To tell you honestly it's just my "duty to finish what I started" motto who compelled me to finish this all up, I mean it's been sitting on hold on my list for almost I dunno how long (much worse, forgotten). 🤣 Gawd! I'm such a bad person!
Overall:
Honestly tho? It not that bad! But it's not that great either. So it's passable 7/10. At least it's not that boring. 🤣
Goodbye! May the god's of Amine bless your journey.
I've been waiting for this on MAL for so long and now it's finally here, I can finally put it on my list of one of my favorite Manhwas.
This btw, is one of THE BEST manwhas out there, for me tho, dunno about you guys. But I got hooked on this since the first chapter and didn't want to stop reading this for days, weeks or even months whenever I have the time to. This has become bread and butter in my daily life. That is how Intrigued I was with this, in short I got addicted since the day I laid eyes on it.
Well
...
enough chitchat shall we? Time for the review I guess?
Story 10/10: the story is about a tower built by someone (A god maybe? XD). No, it is actually about a boy who was left all alone at the bottom of a tower (more like a basement) since he was a baby, until he was found by a girl. Then they grew up together on the outer areas of that tower and one day this girl decides to go up the tower, for some unknown reasons, her dream maybe? (nah..she just want to see some sparkly things up there duhh). The boy then ran after her for he doesn't want to be separated with her (talk about clinginess to the max). Then they found themselves at the door and accidentally the one who was sucked in or rather chosen was none other than our protagonist BAM! (leaving the girl behind???? XD hey no spoilers you mofo!). And that was it. A new adventure awaits BAM. As he was searching for the girl (he loves?) new mysteries unfold about his past, his fam, his powa! While learing about the purpose of the floors and the tower itself, about why hasn't anyone reached the top yet, And why do they have loooooong lives? About the harem king which is on top, jk, He will each solve these mysteries as he meets his new badass friends along the way (and possibly a waifu! Make that two, no it is a HAREM!) And so the story goes on and on.
Yeah. So the story is magnificent. The pace is not too fast not too slow either, good balance between suspense and drama, I don't mind it being to long since I'm enjoying every part of it. Well that for me tho.
Art 10/10: It is simple and at the same time it's beautiful. Simplicity is beauty.. you can easily distinguish scenes on every panel. Characters designs too are badass. Watch out for BAM his transformation is the best!
Characters 10/10: hohoho man, the best there is, the development is quite good. As you go in deeper you'll find out even more cool ass characters and even bad ones.
Enjoyment 10/10: well I haven't caught up and waiting if I didn't enjoy.
Overall 10/10: you guys should probably read this. It's a must!
Been a while since I wrote a review and mostly on anime adaptations. It's my first time writing a review on a manga/doujinshi and it's a hentai at that.
Okay so let's get this started.
Story: well, to be more accurate, it's too realistic for my taste. It's good tho, but it will leave some bitterness afterwards.
Art: it was fine. Not overly done unlike some other hentais' with overly huge on everything. It's well balance. Proportion is good.
Character: well this hits the spot more. Putting yourself on the characters' shoes lets you see how twisted and cruel this world can be. It's an eye opener.
Enjoyment: well did
...
I enjoy this? Well... No, I just came for the plot and read it through to the end. It was a Torment!
Damn. Truly, this is not for the faint of heart. Instead of crying, I got angry, pissed at myself, pissed at the world how crazy it is nowadays. Unable to help or do something is really maddening. This is a wakeup call. I need to reevaluate myself after this. Btw, the story was so good and realistic, that you'd punch or bang your head to the wall after reading it, it's not even fapable coz your conscience will get you if you do. Good but sad.
Ciao!
