Romance ain't dead, neither is Punk, Rock and of course, Anime.

Fan of japanese animation since Elementary School (like 20 years ago) when a national TV channel here in Panama decided to air Anime shows in the afternoons. Some of them were Dragon Ball (the whole saga), Saint Seiya (whole saga too), Rurouni Kenshin (or Samurai X as it was known here), Captain Tsubasa (and their infamous 6-episode counter attack), Sailor Moon (dat mini skirts!), Slayers, among others.

Most of the people I know love Disney cartoons and north american animations, but that's not my case. Anime is my Disney; Goku is to me as what Mickey is for them. I continued watching it for several years until puberty arrived and I was more interested in hanging out and drinking beers (still do tho...), until some time ago a friend of mine suggested me to watch Death Note. Yes, passion was reborn and I realized the evolution, how much animation have changed in those years and started to discover great stories such as Code Geass, Guilty Crown and Mirai Nikki.

I'm not wrong when I say that we, Latin Americans, are too accustomed to North American Animations and TV shows which lack the escence, plot, dedication and most important, the heart. I really hope people could value Anime as much as I do.
