Don't be fooled! This is a very unsuspecting anime series. Seems simple enough at first(first few minutes at least),but the drama really starts right in the first episode! It draws you in and before you know it, 2 hours have passed and you're on episode 5 (well at least that's what happened to me). two days later it's all over! Some of you may think i'm over-hyping but allow me my happy rant!

Look, the animation looks amazing the colours etc, but this was not enjoyable for me. It is slow and hard to stay interested.maybe i didn't give it enough of a chance as i stopped by ep 4.i love the shyness of characters in love etc but honey looks like a child and i can't get over it.especaially with the way she behaves its too much! i just couldn't take it anymore. its obvious that it will take forever for anything profound to happen, maybe i'll try again someday.

The animation style is very soft and detailed. There's a constant background of harmony and peace regardless of what's going on.I'm sure the classical music has a lot to do with that.Just like the soft colour tones and animation style, there are subtle hints of a deeper story. This season

In built predjudices to the diffrent/unfamiliar and explores ethical reasoning for murder/killing. I found that for me there was an psychological and philosophical theme/focus in the storyline which made it a darker more sinister anime. The simplicity of the shiki also was a ... |
