Honestly, I wasn't expecting a second season. I haven't heard anyone talk about Tsurune (at least in the Spanish-speaking world). But I'm very glad they decided to do it. I really enjoyed the first season and this became one of my comfort animes, so I really liked the idea of a second one.
However, I didn't expect to like it so much. I liked it much more than the first.
In the review of the first season, I mentioned that the rest of the characters, besides Minato, Seiya and Masaki, didn't have much development, but this second season developed the rest of the cast. And

it do it very well. Episodes five and seven were my favorites of the entire series (counting both seasons).
In the first season, I liked Ryohei and Kaito, but I didn't like Nanao. Anyway, I didn't love any of them. Now I do. Chapter five focuses Kaito and Nanao and their relationship, which is many years and very complex. Even though I couldn't stand Nanao before, after this chapter, I learned to love him because I was able to understand him better. Chapter seven focuses on Ryohei and Shu, and the friendship that arises between the two delighted and surprised me equally. I never would have imagined that the two could end up being friends. Having opposite lives and personalities, they both complement each other very well and became my favorite duo within the series.
The Kazenmai club girls (Seo, Shiragiku and Hanazawa) get a lot more screen time and I love that. As I mentioned in the review of the first season, I like that they aren't just a setpiece behind the male leads, but that they also have their moments to shine, their own personalities, goals and problems. We have a whole episode dedicated to them and I really enjoyed it.
Other members of Kirasaki are also developed a bit more.
My problem with the series (because there had to be one) is the "rivals", the Tsujimine club. At first they are presented to us as a team to be feared and, as is typical of KyoAni, then we are taken into their club and introduced to normal guys with their own personalities and desires. I liked that aspect, because I like rivals that have soul and aren't mere rivals. The problem is that I expected them to develop a lot more and the ending fell a bit flat. Like: this happened and that's it. They seemed to me more like an excuse to generate new challenges for Kazenmai and nothing more. And that's really a rival, but I was liking the pace and the importance that the series was giving them, it seemed like something else was going to happen, and suddenly it was all over. Anyway, I really liked all the members of Tsujimine, especially Nikaido and Koushirou, although they all had very different personalities and designs from each other.
Because there are so many characters to develop, the series forgets a bit about Minato, Seiya and Masaki, but considering the previous season was about them, it doesn't bother me (aside from the fact that I don't like Minato).
I highly recommend watching it! Honestly, I think it's better than the previous one.

Sinceramente, no me esperaba una segunda temporada. No he escuchado a nadie hablar de Tsurune (al menos en el ámbito hispanohablante). Pero me alegro mucho de que hayan decidido hacerla. Disfruté mucho de la primera temporada y esta se convirtió en uno de mis animes de comfort, así que la idea de una segunda temporada me gustaba mucho.
Sin embargo, no esperaba que me gustara tanto. Me gustó mucho más que la primera.
En la reseña de la primera temporada, mencioné de que el resto de personajes, además de Minato, Seiya y Masaki, no tenían mucho desarrollo, pero esta segunda temporada se encarga de desarrollar al resto del elenco. Y lo hacen muy bien. Los episodios cinco y siete fueron mis favoritos de toda la serie (contando ambas temporadas).
En la primera temporada, Ryohei y Kaito me gustaron, pero Nanao no. De todas formas, no amé a ninguno. Ahora sí. El capítulo cinco se encarga de desarrollar a Kaito y Nanao y a su relación, que tiene muchos años y complejidad. Si bien antes no soportaba a Nanao, después de este capítulo, aprendí a quererlo porque pude entenderlo mejor. El capítulo siete se centra en Ryohei y en Shu, y la amistad que nace entre ambos me encantó y me sorprendió a partes iguales. Nunca hubiese imaginado que ambos podrían terminar siendo amigos. Teniendo vidas y personalidades opuestas, ambos se complementan muy bien y se volvieron mi dúo favorito dentro de la serie.
Las chicas del club de Kazenmai (Seo, Shiragiku y Hanazawa) tienen mucho más tiempo en pantalla y eso me encanta. Como mencioné en la reseña de la primera temporada, me gusta que no sean sólo un decorado detrás de los protagonistas masculinos, sino que también tengan sus momentos para brillar, sus propias personalidades, metas y problemas. Tenemos un episodio entero dedicado a ellas y lo disfruté mucho.
También se desarrollan un poco más otros miembros de Kirasaki.
Mi problema con la serie (porque tenía que existir uno) son los "rivales", el club Tsujimine. Al principio se nos presentan como un equipo a temer y, como es propio de KyoAni, después se nos adentra en su club y se nos presentan a muchachos normales con sus propias personalidades y deseos. Ese aspecto me gustó, porque me gustan los rivales que tienen alma y no son meros rivales. El problema es que esperaba que se desarrollaran mucho más y el final quedó un poco en la nada. Como: pasó esto y ya está. Me parecieron más una excusa para generar nuevos retos para Kazenmai y nada más. Y eso son los rivales en realidad, pero me estaba gustando el ritmo y la importancia que la serie les estaba dando, parecía que iba a pasar algo más, y de pronto todo terminó. De todas formas, todos los miembros de Tsujimine me gustaron mucho, sobre todo Nikaido y Koushirou, aunque todos tenían personalidades y diseños muy diferentes entre sí.
Debido a que hay tantos personajes por desarrollar, la serie se olvida un poco de Minato, Seiya y Masaki, pero, teniendo en cuenta de que la temporada anterior se trató sobre ellos, no me molesta (aparte de que Minato no me gusta).
¡Recomiendo mucho verla! Sinceramente, pienso que es mejor que la anterior.

It's a pretty fun special episode to watch. You might think that it doesn't add much to the world of Tsurune, but in a way it makes the Kazenmai and Kirisaki clubs begin to form a bond that will make a lot of sense in the second season. Between both seasons, this is the funniest episode without a doubt.

I don't have much to say about the movie. I recommend watching it for the first twenty minutes, as they add several new scenes. The rest of the film is a compilation of the middle of the series onwards. In any case, the scenes don't add anything new to the plot, but they are interesting scenes that contribute to the development of the protagonists, especially Masaki and Minato.

Although Tsurune is a fairly simple anime and doesn't invent anything, I consider that it accomplishes what it sets out to do and isn't presumptuous. Personally, the first time I saw it I like it but nothing more, it was okey. But, over time, I couldn't stop thinking about the warm feeling it left me with. After watching it again several years later, I can assure you that Tsurune is a comfort anime for me.
It has the dramatic touch of KyoAni that I like so much, characters that I generally find interesting (although none of them are very original) and a beautiful animation.

If something stands out, it is the animation.
Also, from the beginning I like that we not only have a male group of characters practicing the sport, but also three girls in the same club, something that doesn't happen so often in other sports animes. If it happens, they usually don't have more than three dialogues, and in Tsurune all the girls have a marked personality and are part of what happens. Clearly, since they aren't part of the team that will compete, they aren't at the center of the dilemma, but they are still quite present.
On the other hand, I like that we don't just have a coach who fulfills the role of coach and that's it. Masaki has an almost leading role in the series and many things to contribute to it.
Aside from Masaki, Seiya, and Minato, almost no other characters get much development. Yes a couple of clues, but nothing more. Having seen the second season, I recommend that you watch it if you want to see more development of the rest of the team and also the rivals. The only "bad" thing I have to say about the series is that I find Minato extremely boring as the protagonist and even a little unbearable.
Without a doubt, I highly recommend watching Tsurune, but with the idea of watching a slice of life with touches of spokon, rather than a spokon itself.

Si bien Tsurune es un anime bastante simple y no inventa nada, considero que cumple lo que se propone y que no es presuntuoso. En lo personal, la primera vez que lo vi me gustó y nada más. Pero, con el tiempo, no podía dejar de pensar en la sensación de calidez que me dejó. Tras verlo una vez más arios años después, puedo asegurar que Tsurune es para mí un anime de comfort.
Tiene el toque dramático de KyoAni que tanto me gusta, personajes que en general me parecen interesantes (aunque ninguno sea muy original) y una animación preciosa. Si algo destaco es la animación.
Además, desde el principio me gusta que no sólo tengamos a un grupo masculino de personajes practicando el deporte, sino también a tres chicas en el mismo club, algo que no pasa tan seguido en otros animes de deporte. Si pasa, no suelen tener más de tres diálogos, y en Tsurune todas las chicas tienen una personalidad marcada y son parte de lo que pasa. Claramente, como no son parte del equipo que competirá, no están en el centro del dilema, pero aún así están bastante presentes.
Por otro lado, me gusta que no sólo tengamos a un entrenador que cumple el rol de entrenador y ya está. Masaki tienen un rol casi protagónico en la serie y muchas cosas que aportar a la misma.
Además de Masaki, Seiya y Minato, casi ningún otro personaje tiene un gran desarrollo. Si un par de pistas, pero nada más. Habiendo visto al segunda temporada, les recomiendo que la vean si quieren ver más desarrollo del resto del equipo y también de los rivales. Lo único "malo" que tengo para decir de la serie es que Minato se me hace aburridísimo como protagonista y hasta un poco insoportable.
Sin duda, recomiendo mucho mirar a Tsurune, pero con la idea de mirar un slice of life con toques de spokon, que un spokon en sí mismo.

I don't know... like with the previous movie, I have a lot of mixed feelings.
If I liked the movie, it's because I love Free and because it had very good moments between certain characters, in their development and so on. But, once again, I feel that the series format would have helped develop so many plots better. Personally, the main argument doesn't convince me, nor do I like it. I prefer a natural plot like Sosuke's (a character I didn't like at all at first), than the forced plot that was given to Haru.
The film quickly discards what happened in the previous film

and again jumps from scene to scene, with almost no explanatory intervals in between.
Something that really disappointed me were the "enemies": Albert and Kaede. We've been introduced to the two since Dive to the Future and I expected them to have a "battle" or crucial moment with Haru, but that doesn't happen. Spoilers ahead: in Albert's case, we see him talking all the time to his... boss? Manager? At no point does he have a real talk with Haru, nor the rest of the characters. All of his conflicts are experienced alone, not even with the viewer, but rather they happen behind the scenes. Something similar happens with Kaede: in the first film we have a lot of flashbacks that relate Kaede to Haru's trainer, adding a new character who only appears in both of their flashbacks. This first film builds a certain plot that must be exploited at some point, but which dies in the first scenes of this second film. Out of nowhere, after losing to Albert and realizing that he might not be as good as he thought, he stops being an "enemy." He doesn't become one of Haru's friends, nor does he join his group, but suddenly everything is fine with him. Well, in the last scenes, he does approach the group. What bothers me is that since Dive to the Future he has been shown to be a bad person, almost like a bully, and suddenly he's a good boy as the rest, just a little colder. Really? It's as if KyoAni had regretted showing him like that and no longer knew what to do with him. Perhaps, if we had had a full season, he could have been given more development.
Both characters, especially Kaede (who promised so much), fall into nothingness.
My favorite moments involve Nagisa, even if they're few. He's the only character who can turn an undesirable character like Kaede into something resembling a lovable character.
We could say that the series focuses on Haru, with Rin, Ikuya and Sosuke as co-stars. The rest of the characters have an even more secondary role. It was obvious, because there are too many characters, but I would have liked them to also have their moments, not just appearances.
Despite all this, I do like how Haru chooses to resolve his conflicts. I like that, for once, he isn't the best swimmer, nor is there a specific feeling that helps him get out of the situation he finds himself in. It is him and only him and the limits he dares to push. It also shows a more "real" side of Free, which we had not seen until now, except with Sosuke, and which is far from the fantasy that appears at the end of the previous film.
I recommend it? It's a disappointing ending to a series that I love so much. I recommend watching it if you want the series to have an ending.

No sé... como con la película anterior, tengo un montón de sentimientos encontrados.
Si la película me gustó, es porque amo Free y porque tuvo muy buenos momentos entre ciertos personajes, en sus desarrollos y demás. Pero, una vez más, siento que el formato de serie hubiese ayudado a desarrollar mejor tantos argumentos. En lo personal, el argumento principal no me convence, ni me gusta. Prefiero un argumento natural como el de Sosuke (personaje que no me gustaba nada al principio), que el argumento forzado que le adjudicaron a Haru.
La película descarta con rapidez lo que pasó en la película anterior y de nuevo salta de escena en escena, casi sin intervalos explicativos en medio.
Algo que me decepcionó bastante fueron los "enemigos": Albert y Kaede. Se nos vienen presentando a los dos desde Dive to the future y esperaba que tuvieran una "batalla" o momento crucial con Haru, pero no pasa eso. A continuación, spoilers: en el caso de Albert, lo vemos todo el rato hablado con su... ¿jefe? ¿Manager? En ningún momento tiene una charla real con Haru, ni el resto de los personajes. Todos sus conflictos los vive solo, pero tampoco por eso los vive con el espectador, sino que pasan entre bambalinas. Algo similar ocurre con Kaede: en la primera película tenemos un montón de flashbacks que relacionan a Kaede con el entrenador de Haru, añadiendo un nuevo personaje que sólo aparece en los flashbacks de ambos. Esta primera película construye cierto argumento que deberá explotar en algún momento, pero que muere en las primeras escenas de esta segunda película. De la nada, después de perder contra Albert y darse cuenta de que quizá no es tan bueno como pensaba, deja de ser un "enemigo". No se vuelve uno de los amigos de Haru, ni ingresa a su grupo, pero de pronto ya está todo bien con él. Bueno, en las últimas escenas, sí que se acerca al grupo. Lo que me molesta es que desde Dive to the future se lo ha mostrado como una mala persona, casi que como un bully, y de pronto es tan buen chico como los demás, solo que un poco frío. ¿En serio? Es como si KyoAni se hubiese arrepentido de mostrarlo así y ya no supiera que hacer con él. Quizá, si hubiésemos tenido una temporada entera, se le podría haber dado más desarrollo.
Ambos personajes, sobre todo Kaede (que prometía tanto), se quedan en la nada.
Mis momentos favoritos los protagoniza Nagisa, incluso si son pocos. Es el único personaje que puede convertir en un indeseable como Kaede en algo similar a un personaje amable.
Se podría decir que la serie se centra en Haru, teniendo a Rin, Ikuya y Sosuke como co-protagonistas. El resto de los personajes tienen un rol mucho más secundario aún. Era obvio, porque son demasiados personajes, pero me hubiese gustado que tuvieran igualmente sus momentos, no sólo apariciones.
A pesar de todo esto, sí me gusta cómo Haru elige resolver sus conflictos. Me gusta que, por una vez, no sea el mejor nadador, ni haya un sentimiento en específico que lo ayude a salir de la situación en la que se encuentra. Es él y sólo él y los límites que él se atreve a empujar. También muestra un lado más "real" de Free, que no habíamos visto hasta ahora, excepto con Sosuke, y que dista mucho de la fantasía que aparece al final de la película anterior.
¿La recomiendo? Es un final decepcionante para una serie que me gusta tanto. Recomiendo verla si se quiere dar un cierre a la serie.

I liked it because it's Free, but I have a lot of mixed feelings about this movie.
The first thing is that I would have preferred it to be in series format, because there are so many things happening at the same time, that it seems to me that it would have worked better that way, giving the necessary development to each character and situations. The pace of the movie is fast and it jumps from one side to the other all the time, so many interval scenes don't appear.

to develop the rest of the stories, which fall a little short.
My main problem with the movie is that it revisits a plot point I thought we had already gotten over: why does Haru swim? That question is supposed to have already been answered in the second season (although in this one its resolution seemed a bit rushed to me). If he already knows his reasons for swimming, why does the movie take so much time showing us his dilemmas about it?
In that sense, I would have liked Haru's plot to take a similar path to that of Ikuya and Rin: they both hit a wall and decide to make a specific decision regarding their futures, with the risks that this entails.
I like Free's drama, but in this movie, it did seem very gratuitous, meaningless. Likewise, I do like when characters like Haru (so calm, so cold) have their moment of katarsis.
Despite all this, I liked seeing what path each character took, how they faced and overcame their challenges, each one in their own way, especially Sosuke.
What I didn't like at all was the ending. A bit of spoilers: was it necessary to add a fantastic element to a series that until now was 100% non-fantasy? It's as if KyoAni had run out of ideas to add drama to the situation and it occurred to them to add that. I think there are a lot of things that could have led Rin and Haru to argue, other than it being a fantastical element that forced everything.
I recommend it? To see the outcome of Free, it makes sense to watch this movie, but I only recommend it for that reason, it's not like High Speed, which I recommend watching even if you haven't seen any of the rest of the series, because it has soul in itself.

Me gustó porque es Free, pero tengo muchos sentimientos encontrados con esta película.
Lo primero es que hubiese preferido que fuera en formato de serie, porque hay tantas cosas pasando al mismo tiempo, que me parece que hubiese funcionado mejor de esa forma, dándole el desarrollo necesario a cada personaje y así mismo a las situaciones que se generan. El ritmo de la película es rápido y salta de un lado al otro todo el tiempo, por lo que muchas escenas de intervalo no aparecen.
El foco de la película es Haru, pero al mismo tiempo la película quiere desarrollar el resto de historias, que se quedan un poco cortas.
Mi principal problema con la película es que retoma un argumento que pensé que ya habíamos superado: ¿por qué nada Haru? Se supone que esa pregunta ya se contestó en la segunda temporada (aunque en esta su resolución me pareció un poco apresurada). Si él ya sabe sus motivos para nadar, ¿por qué la película se toma tanto tiempo mostrándonos sus dilemas al respecto?
En ese sentido, me hubiese gustado que el argumento de Haru tomara un camino similar al de Ikuya y Rin: ambos chocaron contra un muro y deciden tomar una decisión específica con respecto a sus futuros, con los riesgos que esto supone.
Me gusta el drama de Free, pero en esta película, sí me pareció muy gratuito, sin sentido. Igualmente, sí me gusta cuando personajes como Haru (tan calmados, tan fríos) tienen su momento de katarsis.
A pesar de todo esto, me gustó ver qué camino tomaba cada personaje, cómo se enfrentaban y superaban sus retos, cada uno a su manera, sobre todo Sosuke.
Lo que sí no me gustó para nada fue el final. A continuación, un poco de spoilers: ¿era necesario meter un elemento fantástico a una serie que hasta ahora era 100% no-fantasía? Es como si KyoAni se hubiese quedado sin ideas para darle drama a la situación y se les ocurriera meter eso. Creo que hay un montón de cosas que podrían haber llevado a Rin y Haru a discutir, que no fuera un elemento fantástico que forzara todo.
¿La recomiendo? Para ver el desenlace de Free, tiene sentido que se vea esta película, pero sólo la recomiendo por eso, no es como High Speed, que recomiendo verla incluso si no viste nada del resto de la serie, porque tiene alma en sí misma.

Dive to the future is my favorite season of Free. There are too many things happening at the same time and they all excite me in the same way. The characters from the first two seasons, the OVAs, Take your marks and High Speed all come together in the same season and the connections between them intertwine and come to life.
Even having seen it so many times, it never bores me, especially the first chapters, which focus on Ikuya. Ikuya is my favorite character on Free and one of my favorite characters overall and I really like how his dilemmas come to life
...
in this season and also how they're resolved. Little by little, the rest of the conflicts of each of the characters are resolved or they find a solution in the future, as is the case of Natsuya or Sosuke (a character that I didn't like at all in the previous season, but that I liked a lot in this season).
I was very happy to meet Mikoshiba Izusu, the only female character in Free who is also a swimmer. You could say that Izusu is a tomboy and I think she refreshes the series a lot. Also, I really like her friendship with Gou and Ayumu, mainly because the three of them are very different from each other and complement each other very well.
The only character I didn't like (and that no one likes) is Hiyori. He is a Sosuke 2, but even more unbearable. And this is my problem with the season: that, despite the fact that I love it and everything I already mentioned, it recycles the same plot of the first and second seasons, but together: an old friend of Haru returns to the scene (Rin /Ikuya), and they have their conflicts to see if they swim together, if they're friends again, why they swim, and so on; and, that old friend, also has a possessive best friend who only wants the best for him (Sosuke / Hiyori) and that is, from his point of view, getting away from Haru, with whom Rin and Ikuya are a little obsessed.
Around all of that there are incredible characters like Makoto (who is living his new adventure very well), Asahi (a character that I love and I really like to see again), Natsuya (the love of my life, although a little silly at times, luckily there is Nao to make him see it), Nao (very much in the chill vibe of Makoto), Kisumi (another character that I love and the only one who isn't a swimmer. Also, his friendship with Asahi is very cute) and the rest of the characters of Free that we already know.
Towards the end, the season introduces us to two "enemies" that Haru must face in the movies.
KyoAni's animation is wonderful, as always. You could even say that this season it shines even more.
As I have already said in other reviews, I love Free for its slice of life and dramatic content, more than for its spokon content (which is secondary in the series), and there is a lot of that in this third season.
Recommended? 100%. I am constantly quoting and thinking about this season.

Dive to the future es mi temporada favorita de Free. Hay demasiadas cosas pasando al mismo tiempo y todas me emocionan de la misma manera. Los personajes de las dos primeras temporadas, de las OVAS, Take your marks y High Speed se reúnen todos en una misma temporada y los vínculos entre ellos se entrelazan y cobran vida.
Incluso habiéndola visto tantas veces, nunca me aburre, sobre todos los primeros capítulos, que se centran en Ikuya. Ikuya es mi personaje favorito de Free y uno de mis personajes favoritos en general y me gusta mucho cómo sus dilemas toman vida en esta temporada y también cómo se resuelven. Poco a poco, el resto de conflictos de cada uno de los personajes se resuelven o estos encuentran una solución a futuro, como es el caso de Natsuya o Sosuke (personaje que no me gustaba nada en la temporada anterior, pero que me gustó mucho en esta temporada).
Me dio mucho gusto conocer a Mikoshiba Izusu, el único personaje femenino de Free que también es una nadadora. Se podría decir que Izusu es una tomboy y creo que refresca mucho la serie. Además, su amistad con Gou y Ayumu me gusta mucho, principalmente porque las tres son muy diferentes entre sí y se complementan muy bien.
El único personaje que no me gustó (y que a nadie le gusta) es Hiyori. Es un Sosuke 2, pero más insoportable aún. Y este es mi problema con la temporada: que, a pesar de que me encanta y de todo lo que ya comenté, recicla el mismo argumento de la primera y segunda temporada, pero juntas: un viejo amigo de Haru vuelve a la escena (Rin/Ikuya), y tienen sus tiras y aflojas para ver si nadan juntos, si vuelven a ser amigos, por qué es que nadan, y demás; y, ese viejo amigo, tiene además un mejor amigo posesivo que sólo quiere lo mejor para él (Sosuke/Hiyori) y eso es, desde su punto de vista, alejarse de Haru, con quien Rin e Ikuya están un poquito obsesionados.
Alrededor de todo eso hay personajes increíbles como Makoto (quien está viviendo su nueva aventura muy bien), Asahi (un personaje que amo y me gusta mucho volver a ver), Natsuya (el amor de mi vida, aunque un poco tonto a veces, por suerte está Nao para hacérselo ver), Nao (muy en la onda chill de Makoto), Kisumi (otro personaje que me encanta y el único que no es nadador. Además, su amistad con Asahi es muy linda) y el resto de personajes de Free que ya conocemos.
Hacia el final, la temporada nos presenta dos "enemigos" a los que Haru deberá enfrentarse en las películas.
La animación de KyoAni es maravillosa, como siempre. Incluso podría decirse que en esta temporada brilla aún más.
Como ya he dicho en otras reviews, Free me encanta por su contenido slice of life y dramático, más que por su contenido spokon (que es algo secundario en la serie), y de eso hay mucho en esta tercera temporada.
¿Recomendado? 100%. Estoy constantemente citando y pensando en esta temporada.

When I first read this spin-off, I didn't think there was anything wrong with it, because I was certain that Hara was behaving like a responsible adult. But nothing further from reality.
Hara wants to behave like a responsible adult, but he always ends up giving in to his wishes at the first opportunity. We can't blame Sorano; first, because he is FIFTEEN years old; second, because even if Sorano insists on certain things, it's Hara's responsibility to say no.
The problem isn't just the relationship between Sorano and Hara, it's Hara's character as a whole. Let us remember that Sorano isn't the first student

that he is attracted to, but that Sajou was there before and Hara was always chasing him, no matter how much he tried to convince himself and the reader that this wasn't the case. First of all, as an adult he should not be attracted to ANY minors.
I like the story of the manga itself, broadly speaking. But I can't ignore not only the relationship of these two, but that of Arisaka and Hibiki, because the exact same thing happens, even if Hibiki is two years older than Sorano. The pattern of student-teacher relationship is repeated throughout the volume: Arisaka-Hara, Hara-Sorano, Arisaka-Hibiki, Hara-Sajou. And on top of that, the rest of the teachers and other characters aren't alarmed by this, but it seems natural to them as these characters are surrounded by "temptation." At one point one of the teachers even tells Hara that many years ago there was a boy he couldn't stop looking at (and vice versa, the boy was always looking at him) and that now he wondered what would've happened if he had advanced in that relationship.
The only one who finds all this bad or strange is Kusakabe, but in the previous volumes.
It's a shame because I believe that Nakamura is quite conscientious and treats many sensitive topics with the respect they deserve, but she doesn't seem to realize how much she's romanticizing this situation, hiding behind "we'll wait until you graduate."
I didn't care about Hara before, but now I see him as a predator. When he's not around these guys he's attracted to, the character is fine and even makes me empathize with him (that is, in other aspects of his life).
On the other hand, I like Sorano a lot. He seems quite original to me in his way of being.
The spin-off itself didn't seem necessary to me because I don't find Hara interesting enough for him to have his own story. Apparently, the author made this volume because many people demanded a happy ending for Hara. And I think it's good... but not this ending. See could've done millions of things different than this.
Honorable mention to Koma, a secondary character who we know a little more about in O.B, but who I like a lot.

La primera vez que leí este spin-off no me pareció que tuviera nada malo, porque tenía la certeza de que Hara se estaba comportando como un adulto responsable. Pero... nada más alejado de la realidad.
Hara quiere comportarse como un adulto responsable, pero siempre termina dando el brazo a torcer ante sus deseos a la primera oportunidad. No se lo puede culpar a Sorano; primero, porque tiene QUINCE años; segundo, porque incluso si Sorano insiste en ciertas cosas, es responsabilidad de Hara decir que no.
El problema no es sólo la relación entre Sorano y Hara, es el personaje de Hara en su totalidad. Recordemos que Sorano no es el primer alumno que le atrae, sino que antes estuvo Sajou y a él siempre lo andaba persiguiendo, por más de que tratase de convencerse y convencer al lector de que no era así. Primero que nada, siendo un adulto no le tendría que atraer NINGÚN menor.
La historia del manga en sí me gusta, a grandes rasgos. Pero no puedo ignorar no sólo la relación de estos dos, sino la de Arisaka y Hibiki, porque pasa exactamente lo mismo, incluso si Hibiki es dos años mayor que Sorano. El patrón de relación alumno-profesor se repite durante todo el tomo: Arisaka-Hara, Hara-Sorano, Arisaka-Hibiki, Hara-Sajou. Y encima el resto de profesores y otros personajes no se alarma con esto, sino que les parece natural al estar estos personajes rodeados de "la tentación". Incluso en un momento uno de los profesores le dice a Hara que hace muchos años hubo un muchacho al que no podía dejar de mirar (y viceversa, el muchacho siempre lo estaba mirando) y que ahora se preguntaba qué hubiese pasado si hubiese avanzado en esa relación.
Al único que le parece hacer ruido todo esto es a Kusakabe, pero en los tomos anteriores.
Es una lástima porque considero que Nakamura es bastante consciente y trata muchos temas delicados con el respeto que se merecen, pero no parece darse cuenta de lo mucho que está romantizando esta situación, ocultándose detrás de un «esperaremos hasta que te gradúes».
Antes Hara me daba igual, pero ahora lo veo como a un depredador. Cuando no está alrededor de estos muchachos por los que se siente atraído, el personaje está bien y hasta me hace empatizar con él (o sea en otros aspectos de su vida).
Por otro lado, Sorano me gusta un montón. Es un personaje bastante metido, pero no llega a ser pesado. Además, me parece bastante original en su forma de ser.
El spin-off en sí no me parecía necesario porque Hara no me parece lo suficientemente interesante como para que tenga su propia historia. Al parecer, la autora hizo este tomo porque muchas personas le exigían un final feliz para Hara. Y me parece bien... pero no este final. Podría haber hecho miles de cosas diferentes a esto.
Mención honorífica a Koma, un personaje secundario del que sabemos un poco más en O.B, pero que me gusta un montón.

It was ok.
I decided to drop it after the first volume, because it never managed to interesed me. There is nothing in the story that made me want to continue reading, not even its characters. The drawing style isn't my thing at all, I feel it's very simple and even a little ugly.
I feel like I drop it before the plot started or maybe it's that I didn't understand exactly what the plot was about even having read up to chapter fifty.
It's a shame because I know a lot of people like it and I imagine they have a reason. But if I

Estuvo bien.
Decidí abandonarlo tras el primer tomo, porque en ningún momento logró engancharme. No hay nada en la historia que me hiciera querer seguir leyendo, ni siquiera sus personajes. El estilo de dibujo no es nada lo mío, lo siento muy simple y hasta un poco feo.
Siento que lo abandoné antes de que comenzara la trama o quizá sea que no entendí de qué iba exactamente la trama incluso habiendo leído hasta el capítulo cincuenta.
Es una lástima porque sé que a mucha gente le gusta y me imagino que tendrán un motivo. Pero si no lo encontré a un quinto de la historia, sinceramente no me interesa.

Even though this is supposed to be a recap movie like the ones we've had in the past, it has too many new scenes to actually call it a recap movie (at least in my opinion). At least more than half of the movie are new scenes, although these take place at the same time as the third season. They're scenes that we didn't see, but that they were happening at the same time as the other events. For example and most important of all: Rin and Ikuya.

As with Take Your Marks, I wouldn't say it's necessary to watch it to understand what happens in the later movies (which aren't recaps), but you'd also miss out on several interesting scenes if you don't. I guess it all comes down to how much you like the series.

A pesar de que se supone que esta es una película recopilatoria como las que tuvimos en el pasado, tiene demasiadas escenas nuevas como para llamarla en sí una película recopilatoria (al menos en mi opinión). Al menos más de la mitad de la película son escenas nuevas, aunque estas suceden al mismo tiempo que la tercera temporada. Se podría decir que son escenas que no vimos, pero que estaban ocurriendo al mismo tiempo que los otros eventos. Por ejemplo y, lo más importante de todo: Rin e Ikuya.
No sé cuánto tiempo esperé para que mis dos personajes favoritos se conocieran y pasó en esta película.
Como con Take your marks, no diría que es necesario verla para entender lo que ocurre en las últimas películas (que no son recopilatorias), pero también te estarías perdiendo varias escenas interesantes de no hacerlo. Supongo que se trata de cuánto te guste la serie.
