Preferably your best :) This usually rubs off across all genres and art forms (Comedy, Romance, Horror, Music, TV, Abstract Art, etc). On here to meet new people and make new experiences like the most of you.
10/10: Absolute perfection. Cherishable through memory and Impression. Timeless In all forms of rating (art, story, sound etc).
9/10: An Incredibly high quality body of work in all regards with an outstanding impression (with respect to its intended demographic of course). Dense with rewatchable material.
8/10: High quality work that leaves a great impression. May include a few hitches, such as poorly executed episodes/scenes, that hold it from the band above. It makes attempts to be an enjoyable anime for its demographic and succeeds with success. Is rewatchable to a great degree.
7/10: Quality work that is memorable. An enjoyable series that I wouldn't mind watching again in my spare time. It falters in some noticable parts within the anime but overall, peeks at my interest and encourages me to continue watching.
6/10: An ok series which fails to make a lasting impression, but cannot be labelled as cliche or repetitive. An ok watch which wouldn't encourage me to watch again, unless it's for background noise whilst doing work/gaming.
5/10: Either through stereotypical and/or hollow characters, this series has failed to capture my attention or has not appealed to me in any great way. Bland, boring and average. Meh.
4/10: A miss which leaves a slightly bitter impression. It fails to meet the expectations of an original and/or enjoyable series and has become a slight chore to watch. Has sometimes lost my attention during the episodes and caused me to periodically skip filler/boring scenes. I actively try to avoid such anime and ratings lower than this. This and lower is when I will start to contemplate dropping.
3/10: Poor quality series. It has consistently bored me and caused me to skip the presumably "plotty" parts of the anime. An increasingly boring chore to watch which makes me wonder why I am wasting my time on poor bodies of work.
2/10: Consistently abysmal series. It has engraved a disappointing and vengeful impression as it continually fails to meet all expectations of an enjoyable anime. It makes me question my passion for such type of anime and rethink on the current quality state of anime within its time.
1/10: Reserved a place in my hell. These anime make me want to question my existence within this world. These actively try to disappoint me and my expectations of quality work. These have destroyed any meaning towards the pride of an author towards his work. In all regards, these anime have faltered to the point of no return. These are my battle scars.
And to my point, my average should be 5.5 but I don't actively seek terrible watches (unless it's actively encouraged or I'm feeling sadistic).
Sometimes my ratings change, whether that'd be rewatching or competition/reconsideration/change with standards of quality. It happens :/
Also, my favourites are mainly used for my measurements of high quality and standard. Think; "Does it measure up to ______?"
Don't take it to heart if they aren't your personal 🐐.
