This anime is one of, if not the, best anime’s to come out this year. Surpassing Chainsawman, Bocchi the Rock is an extremely entertaining anime to watch. It’s characters, soundtrack, animation, and voicing are of the most exquisite I have seen as the anime puts life into the scenes. Hilarious and innovative are the comedic moments, much in contrast to realism of the concerts in which Bocchi plays (with much on the line). This ebbing between modes gives the anime a flow as the characters prepare for their next concert. One might be inclined that the story is unrealistic but how can one complain about

Even though the first episode was a bit sus, it really doesn’t focus on it beyond what it’s meant to convey. Mahiro getting used to his new body in the bath. Mihari teaching him proper hair care in the showers. Even if one isn’t fond of stuff like that, I’m willing to bet it isn’t as bad as some reviews portray it to be. If you just don’t take stuff seriously and enjoy the show, you are going to enjoy it.
