So, I am going to make this review very short and to the point.
This story is what happens when you give a pen and paper to a teenager to write down his deep, irreal fantasies. What would a teenager do when he's lonely and sees a lot of women sleeping never to wake up? You can imagine.
The problem with this manga is that is just that, a fantasy. Nothing feels real, like it would be a dream of the protagonist in which all consequences are good for him. That does not sound interesting at all for me.

I have to admit, I have a weak spot for mangas that have good art, specially the ones that have cute protagonists. Given this, I was drawn to this manga because, look at that cover image! There's no way this story isn't good, right?
Well, I was a bit disappointed. I could not really empathize with the characters, with the idea of the world it presents, nor with the ending either. I think it could had been done much better, but the formula just didn't really work, at least not for me. There is a major event that happens at the beginning, and although the explanation ... I started reading Gozen 3-ji no Muhouchitai with an open mind, merely because I haven´t had many good experiences with Josei mangas, but it surprised me. I found myself enjoying every chapter, and although it does kind of drop the level at the end, it is quite enjoyable and I recommend it.
You may feel a lot of times that you have been through the kind of situations that develop, and this is a good thing, since it tells just how much reality is included in this manga. Everything is real and has coherent results, and that is what makes this such a breeze ... |
