Ame to Kimi to is a lovely read. Due to it feeling like a gag manga, there is not really much of a story to talk about. A woman finds an animal and takes it in, living through various encounters with other people and funny situations.
Personally, I liked the artstyle, it had a warm and clean feeling to it, which suited the manga amazingly well.
The characters that appear during the chapters, especially the two main characters, are all absolutely loveable and you take a liking to them almost instantly!
The sketches are overall really cute and also funny from time to time, which leads me to
...
the conclusion that "Ame to Kimi to" is a small, but priceless recommendation when it comes to cute slice of life manga.
You may not find grand story lines or the likes, but you will surely find a good time. 7/10

Radiation House comes across as a typical medical drama, which I was very happy about, since I highly appreciate this genre.
The Story is solid in my opinion, it has a rather cliche synopsis of childhood friends finding back together and the likes. However, it is told with a nice pacing, leaving space for the medical things and information to be presented to the reader.
The art is unique in some way, I personally found it to be rather gentle on the eye and enjoyable.
For me, the characters are absolutely the strong point of this manga. Even though the protagonist is a massive Simp, the chemistry and relationships
...
between the various characters are what made the chapters so fun to read! Every character brings a perspective to the table and they can be seen as a bit deep when its needed.
Overall, I can say I highly enjoyed this read so far and can only recommend it for everyone who likes something from the medical genre. If you're thinking about wether you should read it or not, definitely give it a shot!

I will put a spoiler warning here.
Jigoku no Alice presents the story of a young loner, who uses his sniper skills and his disfunctional humanoid doll "Alice" to survive in the ruins of a city within the desert.
The Story is overall good and I liked the setting and different locations, for example the different districts of the community and the city ruins of the beginning.
Different characters actually have some depth and backstories, keeping the story at a good pace and giving us an insight into the way the world looks for each character.
The art was not "good" in a common way. However, I appreciated
...
the artstyle a lot as it seemed kind of scruffy and full of motion. It looked to me like someone from this world could have drawn it, which added a huge amount of charm to the story.
Here is what I did not like, and why the manga got a 6/10 from me. It's the ending. After all the progress and the time in the community, getting a sense of change from the protagonist, he reverts back to his loner life in the ruins by killing everyone that follows him there. basically we go full circle and it ends at the same spot it started, just for the reason of "not needing or wanting anybody". It heavily dumbed down my satisfaction of the manga.
To put it simply, I can recommend this work to someone who wants to apprewciate the art and/or likes a dystopian setting.

First things first: this review might contain spoilers.
"Himesama Tanuki no Koizanyou" is a RomCom with a bit of supernatural elements.
The story centers around our male protagonist "Riku",who is at the end of his highschool time, when he is suddenly introduced to his fiance,"Miko",who is a Tanuki princess. Now his family bestows the legacy of the Tanuki Clan into his hands and sends him onto a mission to become a Tanuki to be the heir to the chefs position. The story is told fluent and with a nice pace.
During the story we are introduced to a variety of characters, some more serious while others are rather
...
goofy and obviously for comedic relief. As far as I experienced it, the side characters may be rather shallow, however, they are still likeable and the things they represent are well rounded. The main characters go through noticable development, albeit it not always being visible instantly. The "love-triangle" is solved very well in my opinion and the end is an overall happy one, satisfying on top.
The art was very solid, an 8/10 for me. It portrays the necessary emotions surprisingly accurate, which is something absolutely important for RomComs!
I liked how the panels were filled with background and felt pleasant to read.
Himesama Tanuki no Koizanyou is a wholesome Friendship/Love-Story, that combines strong points of the different aspects of manga, to create a lovely package.
Would I recommend it for people with high expectations, who need extraordinary art, plot twist after plot twist and so on? No.
But I will recomend it to everyone who wants to venture in the world of romance and appreciates a story for what it is? Absolutely. This is a work of art for everyone, who wants to start manga or who yearns for a good nights read.
A worthy 7/10! Thumbs up.
May your journey through this world be filled with joy.

After reading 50 chapters in 9 volumes, I felt somehow compelled to write a review. This review may contain light spoilers and also, I will not talk about the "glorification of whaling" as this is neither a problem I see in this manga, nor should it influence my review for now.
To put it simplay, Kuutei Dragons had a good shot at being truly great, but sadly missed it. The best quality of this manga is its art/ artstyle, which comes across as lively and brimming during almost all of the chapters I read. In addition to that, the Cover arts are amazing and I
...
love to see them on my shelf.
The reason why I only give a 6/10 is the rest of the rating points: Story, character and, as a result of the first three, enjoyment. The story could have gone much farther than it does. The world building inj this manga is good and the artstyle gives also a solid base for an adventure/explorer like story. However, this was thrown out for something that seems like a slice-of-life with dragons in it, which not only takes a lot of drive out of the story, but also makes it seem kinda dull after some time.
Secondly, the characters. The most of them are quite likeable, even though they are pretty shallow and have one or two qualities they embody. The only times we get some character development are the chapters in cities, where smaller stories focus on single characters. Background stories are not really existent at this point, if there were any, the characters could have had much more depth to them and make them more approachable or likeable.
Overall, the art does mostly carry this manga, at least fopr me. If you do not care about depth or big stories, then this manga could be a shot worth taking for you. If the coming chapters gave it more pace and actual story, my rating would probably improve to a 7 or 8, but at this point in time it is a solid 6/10.

I will put a spoiler warning here.
After reading about half of the chapters this manga offers, I must say I enjoy Gajuu a lot. The setting with bear like monsters in the subway is unique in some way, however, there are also many traditional horror/survival tropes and characters included in the story.
From my point of view, the characters were rather shallow and are more or less characterized by a certain trait or symbolism that they are supposed to convey, which they mostly do good.
What makes this work good is on the one hand the art, which portrays a rather gory and dark story, happening in
...
a confined and narrow space. Up until now, I could really feel the built up tension and suspense, created by the artwork and clearly told story.
What makes a good survival/horror manga? Tension you can almost grasp. And this manga has it. If you are a fan of horror or thriller type mangas, I would definitely recommend it to you. Thumbs up!

Let's talk about Rock. To put it simply, Rock has a solid start and also some good points. Warning for spoilers.
First of all, I personally liked the art. It is no "outstanding" art, but every panel seems to be filled to the brim with life, details and the likes, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The story is also very good, basically. In a world, where it is all about making toys, this very thing becomes forbidden and ourt MC Rock sets out for an adventure. As far as I can see, the setting is rather unique and therefore creates a lot of possibilities, which are partly used.
...
Each of the three volumes covers a different city, that the MC visits and they all have their own little story with a small "villainous" person set up. Some parts of the story telling or the characters involved may come acros as cliche, but that was not an issue here.
Now, here comes the big problem: the ending. Or more, how it is conveyed and integrated into the story. For the most part of the story, there is an underlying theme and motivation of not only rebuilding the Clocktower in the home city, but also finding Hacchi, the creator of Rock. Furthermore, there is also the motivation opf Nana, to become the greatest Negar in the world. This is all fine, but after the third city, none of these goals is anywhere near to be achieved. It is the complete opposite, becuase the whole manga gives you the feeling, that the great adventure has just begun.
After the third story, which ends with a girl and her puppet-toy finding happiness, the story ends with a short cut to a few panels with a character that symbolizes the author. He tells the reader, that the story ends here, because he didn't think the story any further. However, this is a good end, because it finished with a character achieving happiness. This is nice and all, but with the hopes of a great adventure happening, all the unachieved goals within the story and untied ends, it just leaves a bitter taste and makes the characters feel much more shallow, than they could have been.
To finalize this review, I will say the following: I cannot recommend this Manga by good heart to anyone hoping for a bigger story and a satisfying ending. If you just want something to read for the art with a unique setting, go for it. Sadly, the ending takes away too much for me to have a good feeling afterwards, therefore 4/10

After reading about 150 chapters, I wanted to write a short review.
The Manga is based on situational comedy and due to it being a gag manga, there is not much story to it.
The characters are all defined by one major characteristic, that gives them their place in the story, situation, etc., most of them are actually likeable, besides there not being much depth to them.
To really enjoy this manga, you probably have to relate to some extent to what the MCs are going through.
However, despite this sounding not toooo great, I highly recommend it. Why? Because it brings a heart-warming, joyful fun with it,
...
that makes you invested in the characters and their paths.
Overall 8/10, read it to calm down from the action stories or to make your heartoverflow with joy! Thumbs up

To start things of, "Bestiarius" was a read I greatly enjoyed. The story overall is not the newest invention of storytelling, however, it is easy to follow and and the smaller stories combine greatly to one bigger picture.
The characters are well written, which I noticed mostly in the antagonists of the story. The author did an awesome job in making characters likable and, of course, hate-able. Even though the manga was a rather short read, with 54 chapters (7 mangas), I felt a solid connection and involvement with the characters, what happened to them and how they saw every part of their storyline.
Most importantly....the art.
...
The visuals in "Bestiarius" are absolutely outstanding. Each and every single panel of this manga is filled with astonishing quality of artwork. The big shots as well as the smaller, more detailed pictures. It had a great supporting role in making the characters hate/ likable, because the looks on their faces were portrayed really realistically.
In total, I rate this with an 8/10, especially with the monumental artwork!
