This might sound weird but you can pick up a bit of slice of life in all of this chaotic anime...
Grand Blue isn't about diving it's about the experience, experience you get when you're still young. That's why we got this set of youthful people who gives no shit when they drink. Of course it's not as crazy as they do but still you get this really fond memories you make with other people and that's important that's why don't be afraid to experience the world especially if you have friends and family with you, everything is better when you have close people who are ... experiencing the same thing as you cause that means you can bond on that feeling of happiness together.
This also might sound weird but Grand Blue isn't about just that though. Chisa and Iori are long cousins who may or may not remember each other (He sure didn't remember Nanaka) but that doesn't mean they're strangers thats because they are making new memories ontop of their old childhood ones so i guess i could say Grand Blue is also about family catching up together but the meaning of catching up on here is.... you know what happened to him. Chisa never knew what Iori would be now and Nanaka is too and that progresses as they get to catch up at each other throughout the story and that is through diving after all if Iori didn't take diving seriously he would be somewhere else and may or may not have a lukewarm relationship with the sisters and that's why i go to Kotobuki and Toki, It might sound bullshiting it but ill just say it nonetheless perhaps both of them knew the relationship of Iori with the sisters that's why they pushed him so hard into the group, by entering Toki and Kotobuki's group Iori had a bridge to restore the fun times they had when they were kids, reliving the times they say or that's just how it is. Anyway everything Im saying right now might be pure dogshit so you take whatever i said is.

Hinako note for me is like another generic moe anime. The plot is quite simple but not that bad. It has some references but it doesn't make any better instead it made it cuter and that is where Hinako focuses the anime pretty much focuses on how cute this girls are and how they will look cute on certain situations. It can be quite funny but just situational. And Sounds and Art is very good as well and i can see it is well-funded and they hired good Seiyuu's for it which is great. Characters... though i haven't seen the 5th girl but then ... i don't think i need to anyway since 4 of them is already introduced in the first episode so far the noteworthy character would be Kuina cause she looks like matured version of Konata. The rest is just fine as they are. Overall Hinako Note is indeed an Moe anime cause it's all sugary-and-rainbows and they did a good work on it. and at least i like it for it's cuteness and calming atmosphere which all of the Moe anime gives me.

The anime is weird but i could say people who tends to enjoy this anime would be probably the guys who likes the stereotype girls but with some new feature "YOU ARE THE MC!" yes you are the MC but then sadly someone is speaking for you so your still not. I don't get the anime but still an interesting idea of genre... it might be better if it's used on VR technology if you tell me... Also you might don't like it if you are into in story with individual characters and personality and does not include you to it. So far enjoy ... having a talk to the girls
