The art and characters of this show come across as sort of whimsical and humorous. It contradicts the story as it told along with the brutality that is depicted throughout. There is a lot of pointless and completely random scenes of fluorescent shapes and colors that pop in and out. If its trying to be stylish, it's failing. It looks like FLCL, Kill la Kill and Dragonball had a baby.
