This was better than I expected. The awful kindergarten humour that destroyed Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, but didn't seem to bother the retarded weeboos is virtually nonexistent, which is a breath of fresh air much appreciated.
Even if it is not a perfect anime at least it kept me interested until the end without skipping over parts of the episodes.
What prevents it from being actually good are the ridiculous idea they tried to promote of the happy cuck and slut couple and the introduction of the fantasy element, that broke my suspension of disbelief, of the feminine dyke.

Re: Creators had a new premise, from the same writers of the fate series, and I was curious to see how will be developed in this show. Fictional characters (in Fate they are historical) come into this world to battle among themselves into two separate teams.
I know it will turn bad when in the first episodes !SPOIRERS! our group makes peace with the government after they are attacked at the house of the protagonist. Here an interesting conflict could have arisen, modern world military technology against overpowered magic. I would have liked to see how the society from the anime is influenced and changes in contact ...

Death Note has a good start, with the possibility to become one of the best anime ever, but it only gets worse and worse as the show goes on.
The problem for the writer of the story was to find interesting challenges for a character as overpowered as Light. He failed, sacrificing the plot consistency and logic by creating conflict who doesn't originate organically from the flow of the events but uses plot devices who undermine its credibility. The last half was really bad with the new antagonists being s**t. I just watched, waiting for the final episode and when it comes it was a total joke. |
