Dragon Ball Super does not go into full blown action packed episodes from the start unlike it's DBZ counterpart. It starts with a more funny and story based start and I like it cause newer fans can get use to the characters. It's been 18 years since the last episode of DBZ and some people didn't get the chance to watch DBZ or know all it's characters but they can now.I use to hate it when people said that DBZ has no story and is all action right off the bat but now DBS shows how the characters are developing before the big battles arrive.

If I were to rate the top shōnen anime by popularity, Bleach would be very near the top. The adventure of Ichigo, Rukia, and their school friends to become stronger and overcome great threats with their Soul Reaper and Hollow powers are extremely popular for sword-focused action that has even spawned many video game adaptations.
The biggest difference between this form of anime and the others reviewed so far is the sheer expanse of content. Bleach is 366 episodes long, and that is about average for the format (some are still going and have been for over a decade. One Piece is up to 730 episodes, ...

This anime is really boring and i had to force my self to watch it. I don't know why this anime is so popular or even considered as the best anime. When i first watched it, i was expecting it to have really good fights and cool power ups but instead i got the characters talking unnecessary rubbish all the time and the fights are lame, like no power ups.. Nothing, i have seen better shows like fairy tail and Naruto which have better written story then this. Like the main enemy is really shallow and uninteresting. What is even the plot of this
