Watch Kyoukai no Kanata.
This show is probably one of the best show's I've ever seen.
The art is beautiful.
The music is beautiful.
The story is beautiful.
The show is almost perfect.
Almost.
The first few episodes are slowly paced and can feel like a drag to watch. The ending left me with very mixed feelings. Some of the characters felt like they served no purpose.

This series was really just okay.
There really isn't to much to it. It's just a slice of life anime about five girls who work at cafes and are friends. That's it. If you like cute girls and slice of life anime, well, you've probably already seen this. If you like those things and haven't seen this yet, go ahead and give it a watch. This show isn't spectacular, but there were some parts I smiled at, the characters are good, but there are some major plot holes in the 'story' (if I can even bring myself to call it that). Basically, if you like cute girls doing ...

Ye. Busou Shinki. These are my thoughts on the story, as well as a little background information for better understanding.
Busou Shiki is about a world in which there are 15 cm. girls that are mass produced. Said girls have a conscience and feelings. They live to please their masters. If this is sounding to weird, let me put it in layman terms. Imagine if your Gundam models became girls, got a brain, and lived to serve you. It could also be described as bite sized Infinite Stratos. That's pretty much it. So, the actual story is just kinda eh. It has no real direction ...

For the sake of convince, this will be for both seasons of LL!
LL! will be known to me as the anime that I watched thirty seconds of before giving up. That's how it was before the kind folks at Desu Daily kinda forced me into 're-watching' it. But ye. So, what did I not like. -CGI: One of my biggest complaints, the transitions between traditional animation and CGI seemed very odd. -Character design: Nothing to great with LL! The characters seem like moe fodder when you first start, but later they grow on you. Still though, nothing too great. Now, What I liked. -Songs: Oh gosh. Many of them ... |
