Wixxos is a mediocre show, really. The premise is dumb, but since some people praised it alot, i thought it may not be that bad. While not awful, i can't say im impressed. I only watched first season, i don't really care about watching more. Characters were blend, especially the main character and her card.

didn't care about any of them. In Madoka(with which Wixoss is compared) i at leat cared about one character, Sayaka. They have very little personality and character development, i'd say even Madoka and Bokurano have better character than this show.
Incest
I like how they handeled incest here. Sure, it's not Koi kaze, but did fine. There is no fanservice for perverts, ans they never say incest is a good thing. They don't say it's bad either, but that's fine. Too bad the brother character was just an empty doll...
Deconstruction and a card game
This is a deconstruction of duel shows, like Yu gi oh, and Duel Masters. But i never liked those shows anyway, so i don't really care about that. Just like i did't care about Madoka deconstructing(just to reconstruct the whole thing at the end, pfft) maho shojo genre, because i don't watch magical girl shows anyway.
But i did care about that card game they play. And the one thing that really bugged me is the fact they never explain the rules. Seriously, they never explain any rules of the game, so most of the time they were playing, i was thinking what the hell is going on. Who is winning? How is the main character so good? I don't see it, because i don't get it.
The ending
I'd say it was anti-climactic. It's also left opened for the second season. Since i don't really care about S2, it was just meh.
Story is 5, art is 7, direction/frames is 5, sound is 7, characters 4, my personal enjoyment is 4, i'd say it's overall 5/10.
