Ω¡Nice to meet you!Ω
I am a person of many interests, (or at least that's what I think anyways) and I enjoy doing many things. A lot of my interests in recent times usually involve things such as reading fanfiction, and I find that some of the best ones are within the genres of Naruto and Harry Potter, but that's probably just because they are so hype and everyone writes for them. Other than that, I love to watch gameplay and commentary walkthroughs of video games on youtube and every now and then I'll look up something else there as well. Finally, I really enjoy watching anime and I definitely cannot remember all of them that I have seen. I also like to hang out with my friends of course but just about everyone alive likes to do that, usually.
My favorite kinds of games to play are RPG's and JRPG's and then the rest of the games in existence, except for some sports games like football since I don't get the point of playing that on a console. I have a lot of fun in games that are for single players, although I also enjoy many online multiplayer games as well, be that on the computer or on a console. When it comes to my own single-player games, I suppose some of my favorite games/series would be the Metal Gear series, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy (especially X/X-2 for me), Disgaea, Persona, Resident Evil, then others but I don't want to drag this out even more than I have.
When it comes to watching animes, I don't particularly have a favorite style or anything that I prefer, though I suppose I can say the first animes that I have seen when I really got into watching them were Maburaho, and Magikano probably. While those two are more ecchi animes they were the first ones I were introduced too, and I probably prefer watching more funny animes though I like them all. Except for one anime in particular which had like 3 seconds of anime in it and 27 minutes of some guy video-taping his city or something, it was dumb.
I suppose I appreciate listening to music as well but I don't listen to many things that are American based that I can tell you about later, though I tend to find all music enjoyable. The stuff that I listen to the most though that I can actually somewhat remember are songs by Hikaru Utada, also known as Hikki, and songs created by the Vocaloid programs, and C-ute. Other than that I love many of the music that is found in animes and videogames since a lot of them have really great sound tracks.
After that my interests in reading probably started all the way back in elementary school where in the fourth grade I had actually read Gone with the Wind, which I guess was really advanced but I dunno since it's just reading after all. After that I read a ton of books, favoring fantasy books so one of my earlier favorite authors was Brian Jacques creator of the Redwall series which features anamorphic animal people, and he also created the Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series features an immortal mute turned unmuted boy and his intelligent shared telepathy dog. After that I liked the Harry Potter books though now it is debatable rather I like the fanfictions based off it more or not (probably so though).
Next, though I haven't really read many I'm started to get into reading mangas online and I won't really start adding them to my manga list till I'm sure I'm actually going to upkeep reading them, with real life happening and me favoring other interests more I'm not sure if I'll get really into the manga reading scene yet or not.
Furthermore, I'd say that I can appreciate things such as fanart, concept art, or just art in general that is created by the mass populace when it has anime influence in it and sometimes even when there isn't, as I can always appreciate the effort someone put in to make a work. The same also goes for people who get really into computer animation and graphics or who spend the time to cut together videos from gameplay or shows and do something unique with it, cause rather or not you think about it, those things can take an extremely large amount of work to have any kind of decent product.
Now, when it comes to gaming, I do not have a favorite platform or anything like that so you can't drag me into console wars like PS3, Xbox, and Wii or PC, or whatever. I just like what I like and there is nothing else to say about that. Now to be more specific about other matters game wise, when it comes to online playing on a computer, I enjoy playing the vast amount of MMORPG's that exist out there, and while arguably they are all essentially the same, I can say that I appreciate some more than others for one reason or another.
I also really enjoy the handhelds like the 3DS or the PSVita, since it's nice sometimes to be able to game while you're traveling on a plane or something and it's easily accessible and can be carried around in your pocket when not in use. Once again I don't specifically prefer one handheld over the other as I enjoy both of them in their own ways.
Now to games themselves, as I don't particularly have a favorite game, there are some games that I tend to be in a mood for when I want a certain feeling I guess you could say. Such as when I just want to play something relaxing for a while I like the Harvest Moon games and Animal Crossing. Or if I want something more action like it'll be an RPG, fight game, or something mainstream like Call of Duty or something though I hardly ever play that since I think the shooter is too hype. I guess I appreciate story driven games a lot more than others, but sometimes ones that have no real point to them are great as well.
Now when it comes to characters in games and who I like to play as or create myself as, when I was younger it used to always be males and usually a buff dude or something when I could though in more recent years I have been preferring to use and make female characters since it seems like no one ever goes that way since gaming is supposed to be a 'guy thing' though I know plenty of girls who play a lot of games too so that's just B.S. in my opinion.
Now onto some general likes about the weather, I really enjoy various weather conditions besides the traditional sunny, I love thunderstorms, snowstorms, and all of those other acts of nature. Also, I vastly prefer the night time over the daytime though when it is daytime and a clear day I love to let the sun in or just to enjoy the day so don't get me wrong about that.
Now for some other random things, I suppose if you were to only name off the elements for powers I would prefer Lightning and/or fire the most, as while they both are indeed pretty destructive, they also have a lot of positive beneficial qualities as well that not many people think about. Such as fire, is also a major source of life for everyone, and can be used for food or warmth or energy, and not necessarily having to be used aggressively and can be more a distraction or to help one find their way somewhere. Same for lightning as it can also be an energy source and people technically run off of electrical currents naturally generated in their body.
Now powers that would not be element related, I suppose I would like the ever popular super speed as long as I had the stamina and control for it, or to be able to have some kind of telepathic powers if I had to only choose one. Of course like anyone else if I had access to everything then I would do that lol.
Now some other things about myself and my mannerisms, especially online, I guess I wouldn't call myself a grammar Nazi or anything, but I tend to spell things correctly when I can help it and I dislike using many of the text speak that is out there except for ones to signify laughing such as lol or rofl since it just looks weird when you type hahahaha or something like that. However, I don't mind it so much where I care if other people use it or not and I'm perfectly fine having a conversation with someone who uses nothing but text speak since I can understand the majority of it as I am indeed a teenager lol.
I also value things such as having respect for others though in some cases I may be a little hypocritical about that since I don't believe that I always respect everyone that I meet though I usually do my best to do so, and generally if the other person is alright then I am alright with them when there has been nothing to provoke each other.
Speaking of provocations and the like. In the past, I used to have a rather small tolerance for such things and had quite the temper, but now it takes much longer for me to have issues with something, and more often than not now I can take a few off base jokes and just have fun with things. Not to say that I still don't get mad over something stupid now and then but really who doesn't?
Now, it is time for some other things that I may have an interest in doing in the future that are purely for entertainment and have nothing to do with my life goals or what I want to do with myself. I may someday want to start writing my own fanfictions as I have had many ideas that I think could be really great for some of the more unheard of games and animes out there, and also some for the more mainstream stuff which I could use as a starting point since it is more numerous then slowly go into the more unknown territories, although as I said this is something I might have an interest in doing and it may or may not have anything happen.
Another such interest that is in the same category as the previous segment is that I want to be able to learn how to draw or something of the likes and be able to make my own works of art that is at least decent enough to make an enjoyable story as well, like making the scenes of a fanfiction or something, which I guess would be a really huge endeavor and as I am somewhat lazy I'm not sure how far I could take that, though if I were to get motivated enough to do something with it. then I would definitely prefer being able to draw characters and stuff instead of background and landscaping though I would do my best to be able to do both so the styles can blend together more.
Now for some more traditional interests that I picked up from my parents, I suppose the only thing I really picked up was from my dad and his love for movies and superhero stuff. He is where I got my love for the general comic heroes and other movies like Iron Man or other random movies out there such as Star Wars and Enemy of the State. Though besides those action movies, I can enjoy the other genres as well, and I suppose movies are the only thing where I can enjoy American localization, though I guess I like some old American cartoons as well such as Tom and Jerry or the old looney toons.
Finally, I only want to say that I also like to try out new things so there's always going to be something new I may want to do or try out as I generally don't make opinions about something before I do it unless it comes to drugs and the like since those are just stupid in my opinion, they are expensive, you can get in trouble for them, and they can kill you, plus you can have side effects all from the same thing at once.
For now, this is all I have to say for this here about me section though honestly, with the way that I am, I wouldn't be surprised if I felt like adding something more to it later, and it was a pleasant discovery to see that I could type all of this in here since so many places have a character limit on how much you can put in a profile. So I hope that you have read through all of this (though I apologize since it is pretty damn long for a profile), and that we can spend time to get to know each other in the future and be able to chat about some simple things in the future.
So Goodbye for now,
Ω Syansan. Ω

o.o
And cool, the club discussion thread has been created already, so feel free to jump in whenever. :D
Anyways, I read (skimmed) your about section, and I honestly didn't expect THAT much, lol.
As for the club, how about we make a club discussion thread where all the members (current members: Me, you, and Liz) can talk. I think it'd be more efficient than talking through the comments all the time, such as if we wanted to say something we'd have to type 2 comments to each person using this current method. But using the other method, we'd only have to say it once. Anyways, let me know what you think. I'll make the thread and tell Liz about it. If we don't end up using it, then so be it I guess, lol.
*Sorry for the block of text...
I'll just go ahead and make you an officer and create a thread in the club forum named "Fan Art" or something similar to that. If you post a picture though, it has to be on the internet (aka a link). Here's the bbc code for it: type (without spaces) [ i m g ] LINK [ / i m g ]
So if you ever want to post some pictures, feel free to do so.
Edit: You might want to put a spoiler around each image to make the page more compact. Code for a spoiler is: [ s p o i l e r ] blah blah blah [ / s p o i l e r ]
If you did do it, (this is an example if you choose to post fan art and stuff) I could create a thread in our forum for you to post some pictures that you think are cool and start a discussion with other people about it during your free time.
The last thing I want to do is make you do something not very fun, like talking to yourself in a forum, lol. It's up to you. :P
By the way, do you want to be an officer in our club? If you want to, you could do sort of like a division or something, such as doing stuff like fan-art (creating a thread, posting fan art and talking about it), competitions, or just other fun stuff. I think having a lot of activity on our club forums may bring in more people, so let me know if you want to help out. :P
If you do become an officer, I'll probably just end up doing whatever you don't do on there then, lol.
My class needed 3...
