...then you might like "Kare" First Love add

I actually made the mistake of trying to read both at the same time, and ended up getting them confused. Mars is far darker than Kare First Love and also 5 volumes longer. Both focus on shy, artistically-inclined girls (Karin wih music, Kira with art) who, despite their best efforts, fall for "bad boy" types (though Kiriya is A LOT tamer than Rei). Kare is a lot lighter, but Mars is very realistic. On another note, Mars volumes are kind of hard to find. (I had to stop the series because volumes are on backorder at the local bookstore AND online).

If you liked Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven add

...then you might like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann add

Both Gurren Lagann and Eureka Seven center around young boys who are developing into brave young men. Both series include a strange girl that makes the young hero blush, and characters with similar personalities (i.e. Talho and Yoko, or Holland and Kamina). They also both have to do with mecha and alternate worlds. Beings other than humans exist in these worlds. E7 is the longer series.

...then you might like Doubt!! add

Doubt and Happy Hustle High are both about first love, and both main characters undergo a transformation of sorts. In Doubt, Ai goes from nerd to popularity queen. In H3, Hanabi goes from tomboy to...less of a tomboy. Both series are also short yet incredibly comical at times.
