So much potential and top tier production wasted in a very very mediocre storyline.
This anime revolvs around a fanatsy world of different kind of races where the lalst human remnant takes the task of ''housekeeping'' some fairies that are used as weapons to fight towards some huge monsters.
I wont lie i was hooked at the very start, 'the legend'' scenario of a human only survivor due to our greed and to fantasy reasons was very intriguing, but the whole implementation of the story after the 4th episode is laughable,it doesnt explain deeply the triangle monsters/human aspect/feries, they dont give

attention at all to their weapons and the stories behind them, and the backstory of WIlem is 8-10 min long.
The romance aspect of the anime as actually pretty decent , even though i am not a huge fan, it was well implemented to the story and didnt look so forced, i was actually surprised.
It is definitely a watchable anime, a nice love story with some great ideas behind it. But it suffers horribly from implementing those ideas to the script and the story, nontheless a nice experience

Onihei it is then! To say this anime is underrated it is a complete understatement, and unfortunately not only popularity-wise but also rating-wise it just seems people haven't given it a chanse at all.
The anime doesnt have a straight forward story but it is divided in small beautifull arcs that tell the stories of a Samurai veteran unit or generally speaking police of that time, the main protagonist is the chief of this unit Heizou Hasegawa .

very 1800 New Orleansenviroment with a lot of Jazz music , and extremely accurate representation of the 1800 Japan in terms housing/clothing etc.
Through the series you are getting into a rollercoaster of emotions, from feeling compansion for certain thieves to admiring the maturity and ethical/archeotype dominance of a person like Heizou Hasegawa whos voice actor horiuchi Kenyou makes a fantastic job, his deep/dominant and at the same time calm voice suits Hasegawa's character and position as chief of all the Samurais and most wise one simply perfectly..
The characters are so well made the balance between action/adventure or simply story sequences is almost perfect. There is literally no time when u will cringe about the lack of action or overuse of it.
Aside from the stories and arcs, this anime portraits almost flawlessly the spirit- the way of living- the ethical and honor aspects that so much affected Japanese people at every lttile decision they were taking at that era.
Onihei is in my opnion is beautifull well made high quality anime, and most underrated anime the last 2,5 years in my humble anime list, a hidden little gem.

Tenkyou no Alderamin it is then.Well this anime is hands down the positive surprise of the summer season and propably the best if u exclude some anime continuations (like food wards). Fantastic pace and story telling with an extremely interesting MC.
Story 8/10 : The Story wraps up around Iktra Solork a guy that joined the army against his own will in a sense, and he is left with no choise but to defend his country. THe story build up is exceptional episode by episode.In my opinion Tenkyou no ALdermin is a perfect example of how u can compress an anime into 13 episodes and still

The pace of the story its one of the biggest prons of the anime, it is exceptionally balanced and it never literally never feels rushed or slow.
The use of romance/action sequences /story telling and the tactical battle is very well handled. I am specifically impressed of how well they balanced the romance in this(IKtra is a big womanizer).They used as much time as they should.
Art 7/10 : Nothing exceptional here, stylistic it was fine. Could have been much betetr though. especially in the xlothing aspect
Sound: 10/10 top tier music. Fantastic job by inaj Keji. High quality of music during the anime and right use of it in pivotal moments.But the quality itself is outstanding.
Character 8/10 : that would have been a 9 if some of the characters werent a bit under-developed. That being said IKtra Solork is one of the best and most importantly interesting MCs i've seen in a while. He is a lazy muppet a womanizer and an exceptional tactisian. I love his calmness and his reactions(too many overractive MCs the last seasons) he has a very specific way of perciving things and confronting them.Igsem is also interesting but is one of the characters i wanted to know more about her past since she is close.
Enjoyment: 8/10 overall 8/10
Definitly in my opinion the pleasant surprise of this sumemr season. I enjoyed every single episode of the anime with his fantastic music very interesting MC and very solid pace.

I will be completely honest here, i didnt expect the specific anime to be THAT good.
At the very start it seemed another harem animem but as it progressed it was obvious this anime was extremly well-made.
--The stories of each girl ikki was encountering/meeting were beautifully made
--The harem aspect never overcame the plot and the action involved, its one of the few animes that they managed to fuse harem/action/adventure so good.
--Graphics were great.SOundtracks-music? SImply fantastic, i would easily rate them 9(even tho i rate the anime as 8)the music during the battles and the songs are beautifull.
I would like to compare it with

another anime of the season even if they are different.With shakurako-san that started insanely interesting with beautifull graphics but ended up dull with messed up plot and a big hole. Rakudai on the other hand u think its your average harem anime, but it turns to be 10 times more. Fantastic plot proggresion, fantastic fights, fantastic soundtracks, yes the plot itself is not nuclear science we have seen it again but delievers great and progressives even better.
At the very end of anime it let u a feeling of completition and enjoyment of a very good anime u just watched, and not the average harem fun aspect between the characters.
A very very welll made anime and everyone should watch it

To better understand and judge Terra Formars someone first must wonder what to expect to see from the specific anime.A complicated and deep story with great flow caharcter develompent and some small doses of action? A flat out space odessy?
Thats not the case here, Terra Formars is an action packed Sci-fi anime with many gore elements,its an honest anime towards the viewer from the very first episode , u know what u'll see and what to expect and it does it WELL
Story 5--Its not rocket science thats for sure.Enhanced humans with bug abilities are send to Mars to fight some evolved cockroaches in order to

obtain some samples of them to fight a virus that threatens earth with extinction.There are no sub-stories and the flow is annoyingly fast, especially at the first 3 episodes.
Art 7-- I quite like the art in Terra Formers, its unique the fights are pretty good and its great for gore fans like me, u'll get to see a lot of blood, different kind of fatalities and many other.Also the female figures are just great on this one!
Sound -6- Nothing special here. The sound effects are worth mentioning, quite decent
Character -6- The character development is not perfect but also not non-existant as it has mentioned by some reviewers.U get to see many glimpses of Alex's past but also from many support characters such as Adolph and Sheila.So i wouldnt go so far calling the character development non-existant, its actually Ok.
Enjoyment -7-It is clearly a matter of taste.For what its made i think its above average,action packed gore in quite a few moments, its a slash and splash fest and its quite enjoyable if u ask me.For some others though it might be just a nonsense

Tokyo Ghoul is a supernatural- horror(questionable) anime summer release, or simply put propably the most anticipated aka hyped anime of the year.
The fact that they released only 12 episodes it was definitely a deteriorating factor, thats why i will judge the anime by its 12 episodes and not ''how could it turned to be if it were more' afterall thats a producing studio decision and it would have been UNFAIR for the anime itself to be judged like that.
Specifically:

animes have failed..and thats to create a very dark enviroment even though i wouldnt label it as a pure horror anime.
1 Ghouls that apart from flesh and blood are keen on cofee? Hell yeah!
Different kind of masks to personalize the ghouls a little bit more? Hell yeah
These were some interesting little things that definitely enhanced the anime and improved the immersion
Art 8 : Art is of top notch..lively colorfoul and very realistic. The battle are definitely above average, and of course cagounes steal the show.You wonna see some epic battles full of blood and some gore characteristics?...well u have them
Sound 9 : Easily its strong aspect, the intro and ending songs are both great the sound effects are amazing.Moreover Kaneki's character Hanae Natsuki sure made one of the best voice acting i have experienced definitely in my top 5. Kaneki's reaction's add a lot of drama that help the dark side of the anime
Characters 5 :Its not something new...yeah Tokyo Ghoul really struggled in terms of character development, even Touka who is MC we dont get to know much about her during the 12 episodes.So beyond Touka and Kaneki the other support characters, even though they got their respective time we hardly thought we know anything about them after the 12th episode, there were just ''filling'' the spots and that was bad
Enjoyemnt 7: Adjectively i think people will enjoy this anime, it dielevers a dark enviroment with some flashy and bloody fights between ghouls and ghouls with humans, the story its not rocket science thats for sure, but ic ant be helped ..there are only 12 episodes,
Overall 7: I Would like to pinpoint 2 things
First Tokyo Ghoul dielevers exactly what it created for, a dark bloody enviroment , and it does it well, it is almost certain that anime that get hyped so much are doomed to fail most of the times*Aka dramatical murder'' but i think tokyo ghoul w as pretty solid, with its glitches of course
Secondly with all the respect i see a very small number of reviewrs who vote music/art 9 and then they give it a 3 overall because it dissapointed them its not like the manga they dont even bother making an average rating, taking into account that people read us in order to start an anime, i beileve we ought to try and be as much adjective as we can

I so much wanted to write a Mahouka No Rettousei review for various reasons, mainly positive
Story 8:The anime centers to the life of two siblings Miyuki and Tatsuya Shiba while being in a prestigous magic school.The girl has a natural charisma while the boy mainly uses his brain and knoweledge to close this gap.The plot also has subrootes and thats 1 him being an undercover and moreover (2) Shiba's status in Tatsuya family.
At this point i would like to comment on the mechanics and characteristics of the magic spells implemented in the anime, they are versatile huge in number and very complicated which personally

gave me a great impression since the start of the anime, with other words its quite deep.They dont just throw a fireball or an iceball.There is a ridicously wide range of spells, that can be activated with a very interesting way, Ono Manabu has obviously worked a lot on this.Its not easy to build a magic world and try to adjust/enhance those spells (through an engineer character) and most important to make it beleivable to the audience
Art 9: Outstanding art, from the costumes, the spells through various of items, the battle between students are quite enjoyable and so fun to watch and art plays a major role to that
Sound 10 : What can i say its almost perfect the music during the battles catchy and succesfull, the sound effects of various spells are close to perfect , simply amazing
Character 7: There is so much arguement about Shiba Tatsuya which i really dont understand i disagree with the majority of them, to be specific. Tatsuya is an amazing character he is not the super talent in magic nevertheless he is quite incompetent, he varies from the other MCs with the ridicoulus powers, try hard/shout mentality that after a while he becomes the ''one'' the chosen the superhero.Not even close, actually Tatsuya starts as a Weed*and remains) he is very humble(something i like) modest and straightforward(think i like very much since most of MCs today are cupcakes who never express themselves), and with his efforts he starts to rise in peoples prestige level.
Lets not forget that Tatsuya is considered a magic mind brilliance ,and not because he borned like that but because he owns facilities and he propably has studied a lot. He is one of the rare occations that i dont mind getting all this female attention,and thats because he deserves it, whereas in other animes nowdays MC gets all the attention for simply no reason. I have to agree though that as far as the other characters are concerned , stories are kinda swallow yet but the characters are lovable! The female MC is indeed a bit one sided ,
Enjoyment 8.5: I personally liked a few anime the spring season but Mahouka is sincerly the only anime that kept me excited(and still does) in all its episodes with no exception,The anime has many MANY ''wow' moments and that says a lot
Overall 8: Overall i would normally give it a 8.5 but characters are a main part of every anime so i will give it an 8. I recomment this anime to everyone its great and it will keep u excited all the time.Tatsuya is one of the best characters i've seen , and Mahouka No Rettousei its the most perfect made and well worked example of How world would be if we all had a little bit of magic inside us!

Summer mecha releases were mediocre and Aldnoah is not an exception. Argevolen was hardly average and Aldnoah is slightly above average and that's only because of the art and music used which were very good. Specifically..
Story 5: Nothing new here, the most used story usually used in mecha anime, a fight between Terrans (earth) and Martians (Mars). It turns to be an one-side war since Martians acquired some high tech technology called Aldnoah, which only they are able to use. Then, as usually, a Terran rises and confronts all the martian mechas, mainly having as weapon his I.Q (debatable...).
Art 6.5: Art is decent, though I

must admit Martian mechas really look ugly. I know they wanted to give an impression of a most technological advanced civilization, but they did it all wrong. It's like we see 2 diferent anime in terms of mechas, completely different style.
Sound 8: Music and sound effects simply put, are by far the best aspect of this anime. Aketagawa has done a great job, the music is not exaggerating but epic at the same time, sound effects of weapons -shields- clip shells are very realistic.
Character7: MC-Inaho: I must admit he is interesting; he is a low profile guy, doesn't talk much and he is quite smart, as far the others are concerned, there's nothing special... Character development is non-existent with 1 slight exception of Slaine, where we get to know his family's past (his father specifically).
Summing up, Aldnoah.Zero gets a 6 ...on the very edge. So hyped at the beginning... By the way, I understand its popularity, but don't get baited, it's a DECENT anime but nothing too much (most overrated anime of its season). Try Broken Blade... you will be amazed.

Broken Blade it is then.Well in my opinion the specific anime is the most underrated of the past spring season.I will be more specific below.
Story:7--Its not nuclear science thats for sure but it solid nontheless.The 3 main protagonists(Zess rhygart and Hord) are connected with a deep friendship coming along the way from the past.The people of this continet(Cruzon) use quartz to move mechas except Rhygart, who gets to operate an ancient golem(aka mecha).Unexpectedly Rygart and Zess will confront each other in the battlefield serving different countries(even though rygart isnt a soldier)
Art:9. The art is simply fantastic.As a fun of mecha animes, i am a harsh

judge when it comes to art and battle implementation between mechas.Well in terms of meele battle this definitly one of the best animes with mechas around,they are just awesome and so fun to watch.
Sound 7:Decent sound and music soundtracks.The quartz weapons sound kinda strange though, but in general quite satisfied with the outcome
Character 8:I love the Characters,Rygart the protagonist its not the usuall super duper talent who gets to operate a machine for first time and starts to nail the battlefield.Nevertheless he is decent and it takes long time to get used to it, not to mention even at the important battles he doesnt manage to make the difference(something i really like personally). The character development of the other persons is very well balanced and solid aswell, and everyone gets some respective time.My fav is Baldr commander
Enjoyment 8. I have been enjoying the specific anime very much, maybe cause i really love that type of anime, but beyond thats its an anime worths seeing
Overall 8. I DEFINITLY reccomend the anime to mehca lovers, beyond thats its still a very good anime to watch, with decent plot and anime development, i kinda beileve the 7.57 its a bit harsh i think it deserves better, in my eyes its the second best anime after Mahouka rettousei this spring season, but thats a personall opinion!

Just finished watching the 6th Episode.Though it started so well(first 2 episodes)it really failed to deliver a solid story and explanation of whats really going on
Pros: Graphics( I consider graphics slightly above average close to good,and thats mainly of the decent fights i have seen, beyond that it isnt anything speciall) -Soundtracks(I like em very much and they are very close to the specific enviroment this anime tries to deliiver)

a total unrealistic looseness and kindness
Story:Its swallow and total unrealistic in many ways.
I am really pissed off with this anime cause first episodes gave me the impression of something good.Truth is that it is just an awkard situation where a girl goes to school with some assasins and she is trying to be friends with them, even though she knows they want her in pieces. 5.5/10 its my score graphs and OSTs save it for the day
