The main characters Tooru and Kyouko have a really similar... aura? ^^' Like, their crazy straightforward personalities, and their silly over-the-top actions, and the poses they make, and the way they talk, right down to their overflowing love for one of the other female characters, and the way they express it. It was killing me while I was trying to figure out who Tooru reminded me of, until I finally remembered Kyouko and everything clicked into place. Both of the shows are also really enjoyable slice-of-life/comedy animes that make the most of their really interesting and diverse groups of characters, and are very shoujo ai. Good shows, watch 'em both.
