I hardly hang out with my friends. I'd say that 90% of the times I hung out with them is because there was a few places I had/wanted to go to which was in walking distance from where we were hanging out at. The other 10% was out of pure will to hang out just to do so, but mainly because the place we hung out at was close to my house.
Figuring out what people are thinking online is difficult. Sometimes it's hard to tell if somebody is being sarcastic or not. It's also hard to seek out the truth from people because some of them like to play it off and not reveal the truth and you're left wondering if they're actually telling the truth or just lying. The internet sure does have its downsides, so does meeting face to face, but it's more difficult to understand someone completely online that you never met in person unless they're being completely honest about what they say or they just tell you directly about what they think in an honest way. Either way, meeting face to face will always establish bigger bonds and make it easier to understand one another than those who only talk online.
I usually keep my distance and act like I'm doing something like looking at my phone or just look like I'm feeling bored so that they won't notice me. If I see that their faces are in the position of potentially looking at me by chance, I'll try not to look too much.
When I want to be friends with someone, I usually just watch them and see how they act with other people such as their own friends or see what things they're interested. For example, if I'm at a bookstore in the manga section and I see someone in the manga area as well, I try to see if they're reading something I like. But even with something like that, I most likely don't approach people unless I really want to which is rare.
Recognizing people if they're sincere to you is tricky. Some people can say things they don't really mean in a sincere way. If it's someone I don't know, I don't really take whatever they say to me or how they feel about to me to heart. I stay neutral until I really get to know the person. When it comes online, that's even harder. A lot of people put on a mask and act as someone else. Just have to really take the time to see how the person is. I usually try to see if there's a change in speech pattern, the way they express themselves, or a difference in vocabulary. Those changes can tell you ho that person feels about talking to you. To me, it's all in instinct. Kind of hard to describe fully, but if you really want to know then you can just ask me. Approaching new people to try to be friends is always something I'm not really a fan of doing. Most people I met today were because they approached me or I was introduced by a friend to another. I'm fine with the friends I have so I'm not really looking for any new people. I wouldn't mind making new friends at anytime.
The internet is truly a dark place. There's always those who just insult others because they can make an account without their real information and attack people. It just angers me to see people do these things and also makes me feel disappointed to whoever to raised them.
If you feel confident in your results, then I'll feel confident as well that you will pass :)
When I just watch people, I watch other people and make sure that they won't spot me watching other people xD Always hate it when you look at someone for the first time for one second and then they look at you and meet eye contact xD
It's easy to find people that you find interesting online, but not in real life :/ Part of it is that not everyone shows their true selves towards some person they just met. Even though most of my friends are really open and we can all talk about anything no matter what it may be, they're still not the kind of people I look forward to hanging out with all the time :/
I've seen a lot of my friends who's friends with hundreds of people but they only talk to a few of them. I have a friend who showed me what he does on Facebook. He searched for a bunch girls on Facebook and he just sent friend request to all the ones he thought looked nice and hot, even though he already has a girlfriend xD
When it comes to meeting new people, I'm also not that interested in meeting them. Like, what I find conflicting about myself is that I want to meet new people with the same interest, but at the same time I don't really want to meet new people. I usually observe people around me and see how they are like. When I was in school, I would always observe everybody in my classes and see who I could become friends with. It usually ended it being people approaching me. I think almost all of my friends were made through them talking to me first and introducing me to their friends. I could talk to just about anyone on my own, but I chose to stay to myself most of the time.
Well, male dogs are a lot more suited as a companion because they're always wanting to be there. Female dogs can also do the same but sometimes they act like cats and just want to be themselves without being disturbed and if you try to play with them they would just stay where they're at. I love cats, too. I just want to hug them to death and all but they're not always playful :/ Then you have the cats who don't know how to play with their paws without having to extend their claws out! Agh!
Thanks! When are you going to get to see your final results?
They just stopped writing to you? I talk to my friends through a messaging app on my phone and we're all in a group chat so we can just see any message at anytime and usually someone sees it in a short time. I usually just post anime pictures and say whatever. There's nothing really big going on between me and my friends. We're all just together just to have fun.
Do any of your other friends that still write to you?
As we get older and head out into the world, it can sometimes be hard to meet new people and be able to be with them a lot because of all the busy stuff we have to take care of now :/
Animals can be so lovable that it can be hard to restrain myself xD My dog trusts me and my mom too much that we can practically do anything to him and he wouldn't care. What's funny is that instead of licking us like a normal dog as a kiss, he actually uses his lips. Then another thing is that if we get angry at him, he'll try to kiss us on the lips as for saying sorry. We don't know how he learned that but it's adorable!
Same here. Most of the things I think about my friends are mostly negative things. I occasionally ask myself why I still hang out with these people. I even told them how I felt about them one time because for some reason, everyone was asking these deep questions all of a sudden o_O When they asked me, I said it in a way where it didn't put them down or anything. We were talking over a messaging app so it probably would've been different in person. It didn't change them at least. Since I'm finally out of high school (YES!) I don't know if I should hang out with my friends. I decided to stay quiet unless they ask me something directly instead of to everyone in our chat. I'm planning on making new friends but it's quite difficult for me since I'm not the kind to approach people, in fact, all of my friends have been through them approaching me and them introducing me to others. I'm surprised how many people I've gotten to know through that. It's also difficult for me because right now, I just watch anime at home until I have to go to work. I get home later at night and watch more anime. Then next week, I got a paid internship so I'll be doing that along with my other job so I'll be quite busy for the time being. At least the paid internship is in the city and I know some place where I could possibly meet some new people so there's that.
Do you have any friends that you really want to stay friends with? Like, you enjoy their company very much and being with them usually makes you feel better rather than bored or angry?
I also like to give my Bearded Dragon lots of kisses on his beard since it's very soft :D Same goes with my dog except it's on his lips or in between his eyes or on his forehead :D I love them so much that I wish I could just squeeze them very much!
That's great that you think that way.
I find it funny how I don't like talking to that many people outside but I have to talk a lot at my job to a lot of people and somehow I got really good at it since day one o_O
By weird is that sometimes I play with my dog and then put his whole snout in my mouth xD He's very clean or else I wouldn't have done that and sometimes I do it in front of my mother xD But most of the time I just like to yell out random noises or over-exaggerate my reactions. When I see a spider crawling in my room, I say to it how it made a big mistake and that it's walking to it's own grave. I always get spiders in my room for some reason, even though it's clean and gets vacuumed like once a week. I kill it, say I'm sorry for taking your life, throw it in the trash or toilet if it's big. I then try out different personalities and voices. But most of the time when I'm alone and not doing anything at all, I just think about things more deeply. Either it be how I've been lately, what I truly think about my friends, why certain things exist, etc.
One thing, though. For some reason, I just love stuffing an animal's face right up my face. I also have a bearded dragon that has a pretty big snout and I like to stick his snout up my nose xD It doesn't go that deep. Barely even goes in at all but I just do it xD
I never really used the internet when I was younger (probably because I was too young xD) but I had video games. When I couldn't play them, I could go outside and play or play with the toys I had which were usually legos. Now, I use the internet all the time, mainly for research and entertainment. I've never liked getting into the social media place like Facebook. I always hated it when I mention to an adult that I use the internet most of the time at home that their first assumption is for Facebook or something similar, but I don't blame them because it's quite popular among teens. Adults, too.
Sometimes, not having that much internet access can make me do things I kind of almost wanted to try for some time. Usually weird stuff xD
Yeah, back then internet wasn't as available as it is now so most people didn't mind having internet. But now, a lot of us are spoiled by having better access to internet that going a few days without the internet can make someone go crazy xD Same thing with kids and teens that a lot of them get angry when their phone is taken away or go nuts if they can't use it for whatever reason. I know these two kids who are around 7 and 9 years old and they're really good at piano and violin. They would practice all the time. But ever since the mom gave them an ipod, they don't practice much and they would create a huge fuss and the mom would actually have to make an effort to get them practicing.
I'll probably watch only all the bloody crazy scenes from that show only. If I ever do end up watching it, it'll probably much much later in time.
lol, I know someone who went through the same thing. The person was so bored there and all she wanted to do was talk to me and my friends through this messenger app but the internet would always act like it's going on and off so she couldn't use it much. Sounded like she was going crazy over there. But lucky for you, you had some internet at summer camp. Whenever I went to something like a summer camp, there was no internet and I didn't have a phone with 3G. But at least I went with people I knew and made tons of smores!
That show? lol. I keep thinking if I should watch it or not someday. Even though I like to watch gore and all in anime, for some reason, there's not as much satisfaction when I watch pieces of it on Youtube. All I see is a bunch of girls going crazy.
lol, usually I never feel depressed. One time though, during my last month of summer vacation, our internet bill was really high because it combined 2 months worth. We moved to a new house at the time so they had to transfer the cable and all to the new place so we didn't have to pay for that month. I only had my 3G on my phone to watch anime. By using the most of it, I was only able to watch like 20-23 episodes, which went away in about a week since I tried to preserve it as best as I could xD After that, I couldn't use too much of my 3G and couldn't watch another episode and had about one and a half week before school started. I was about to feel depressed and then I decided to stop by Barnes and Nobles, get something at the cafe so it didn't look like I was freeloading their wifi, and watch a few episodes xD But that was when I started buying manga :D If it wasn't for the time that I had no internet, I might have gotten into manga much much later. Crazy how things like that works. A reason for everything it seems....well, most of the time xD
lol, which show is that? Sometimes, when I find myself watching a series that I just fell in love with after 3 episodes or so, I find myself taking a long time to finish it for some reason. It's like I don't want to finish it just yet but savor it xD
You should check out Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. It has romance and music but I warn you, it's pretty sad. I found myself in tears many of times throughout the series. It just ended last season. To me, it's a really beautiful show.
I see you had Owari no Seraph but you're probably waiting for it to finish airing. I really like it.
I have to put this in here because I love it but it's called Kiniro Mosaic. Second season is airing now but it's just so cute, funny, and nice Slice of Life moments.
I'm surprised I don't have too many shows with lots of gore or stuff like that. Usually I try to look for them but end up watching more Slice of Life, comedy, and romance stuff. There is Terra Formars. It has lots of gore scenes but throughout the show, there's so much backstory on so many characters that it gets boring and slow. Check out the OVAs if you want a good taste of it.
I don't know too much fantasy stuff which is also surprising since I live that genre, too.
Maybe check out Chunnibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
I do the same thing, too, when I watch a show that turns out really bad but try to finish it. Hasn't happened too much to me but I hate it, but at the sametime I can't help it xD
Ah, that sucks :(
What genres are you interested in? What kind of aspects are you looking for, such as good characters, art, music, etc.? For me, I do a lot of research before I watch a show because during the weekdays, I don't have too much time to marathon shows or watch a couple of episodes in one sitting. Sometimes I choose them by glance or read a bit about the description . Most of the time I like my choices, but sometimes I find some bad ones which I don't know how I was able to watch through.

Anyways, have you seen all of the shows airing this Spring? If so, what do you think of them?
