I know it's not fair to leave a nasty review just because you don't like a shows characters, so I won't. However, I will complain about how bad these characters truly, are.
Story(7): Nothing special. It'snot fair to give this anything less than a 6 because of how successful the cliche, and the anime is. It's the typical opposites attract archetype. You'll probably find a better substitute for this show, but this show is fine.
Art(8): Very easy on the eyes, and pleasant to look at. You can tell that this is where the majority of the shows budget went.
Sound(6): Sound editing is quite good actually.
...
However, the sound quality is nothing special, and the music is that classic Major 1, Major fourth, Major fifth, Minor 6th, that is ubiquitous in a lot of shoujo anime. Don't watch this show for the sound.
Character(1): I could talk about how cliche, tacky, and paper thin these characters are, but you can hear that from a lot of reviews. Instead I will talk about how terrible the characters actually are; Actually, I will talk about how terrible one character in particular is. Misaki is probably the worst person in terms of humanity, and writing in the whole show. She is an abusive, manipulative, sexist, and incorrigible person. But her worst trait is that she is hypocritical. There is literally a scene in the subbed anime where she says "No human is worthless", but if you rewind that VERY SAME EPISODE, you will hear her call multiple people worthless because they are running in the hallway.
Enjoyment(2): Almost every other episode of the anime I had to pause it because I couldn't bear Misaki's hypocrisy. However, you will probably enjoy this show a lot seeing as it is very popular so give it a try.
Overall(7): I've given shows that I enjoyed more worse scores, so believe me when I say this show deserves a seven.
What is so funny about this show is that it is sexist to every side, so it makes for some pretty hilarious moments. Anyway, I'll see you later

I realize this is really late, but I still want to right this review. This review will contain no spoilers.

Now you may be wondering why I rate this so low overall when I have every facet above average. And that is because this show does not do what it thinks it does, and is very hypocritical. What is great about the show is that, while many anime glorify depression, and the "shut-in" lifestyle, this one does not. It takes a very realistic approach to how depression actually weighs on someone. But it is this realism that is it's very downfall. It tries to set

an example for real people, who are struggling the same way these characters are, that things can get better, and that life is worth living. But the portrayal of this "better" is what breaks this show. Their lives get "better" (not really) because they are dependent on each other. It glorifies co-dependency, and unhealthy relationships. And you may argue that this is the point of the show; that while things aren't perfect, they still work. And that is a completely valid argument. However, relationships like do not in fact work. Their relationship is not mutually beneficial, it is mutually parasitic. And in the same way that NHK is critical of shows that glorify depression, this show glorifies (wow say glorify one more time will you) abuse. But putting all of this aside, this is definitely a show that is worth watching.

Get ready for the most milk-toast, cliche harem anime you have ever seen. If you have seen 1 harem, you have seen this one. This anime is incredibly generic and predictable that it is painful. I'm only giving it 6's because objectively that is what it is. These characters are so bland and predictable that you will probably be able to guess what each character is going to say before they even say it. If you're in the mood to be bored, then watch this anime. If I were you, I'd just re-watch the York-New arc of Hunter x Hunter, because that is just Soooo

much better. This anime isn't bad, though. If you are in the mood for that boring ecchi harem, then by all means this is a perfect choice. But I don't see why you would be in the mood for that, and there are way more entertaining ecchi harems out there. Wait, I have one more burn and then I am done with my review. If each anime had a color, this one's would beige. Alright, goodnight everyone

*Short no spoiler review
This is my first review so go easy on me.
I came into this show expecting a tongue in cheek, lighthearted, fun harem anime, and that's exactly what I got. Nothing more. Nothing less. Hensuki is really good at what it does, but not really anything else. You can't go into this show expecting anything, but if you come into this show because you are looking for a self aware harem, you will have a lot of enjoyment. It doesn't pretend to be deep, and there is almost no drama, or it is very light on the backstory. There are a lot

of things that you have to overlook, but if you can overlook them, your enjoyment will great. The characters are fun, every girl is a good option (except maybe one), and the protagonist obviously has some influence from Ararag (Monogatari series), and Sakuta (Bunny girl senpai), and that makes for a cooler dynamic rather than the protagonist getting flustered every 30 seconds. My only two qualms with the show that actually hang over me are: 1. The ending was sub-par, but still not terrible. 2. There was a really ambiguous relationship, that was barely explored. I give "Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?" a 7 (if i'm being generous) from a technical standpoint, and a 9 from an enjoyment standpoint.
