After injecting the vampire blood to Tsukune for like 3rd time, his wound didn't heal and his body became unstable. There was no way he'd ever heal from it completely, so he had insane strength and agressivity. Even inner Moka wanted to kill him, but school chairman made a holy lock for him. It's simply a silver chain wrapped around his right wrist working similar like Moka's rosario - sealing his power.

Funny fact is that he's used vampire blood since 10th chapter of first manga, which is chronologically about middle of first anime season (even earlier than he meets Mizore).

For the pic, I really like this one, so I wouldn't change it. If you want to change it though, I'd vote for some ecchi pic or cute girl. ^^

I don't like dumb characters. That's exactly what I dislike about some of harems - the dumb main character. I guess that my top two harem main characters are Aono Tsukune and Tsuchimi Rin. They are both caring, intelligent and nice to girls. They never loose their heads and bleed from their noses like idiots. ^^

I'm really crazy about Rosario+Vampire manga last couple of days. It's story is really amazing and Tsukune is actually really strong guy (obviously not stronger than inner Moka) and it makes story even better. Still I hope about release of 3rd season, because I really liked the taste of anime. Yes, it was more like ecchi than action, but I seriously don't mind that. It's fun to see your favourite characters animated once in a while. ^^
