I can't say I have that much of experience with these kinds of anime, but to be the first, it was surprisingly good! Horror and romance, how could you possibly pull that off? My answer, they succeeded. I actually enjoyed this one to be honest. I'll keep it short but also informative!
Story
Yes, oh god yes, I really enjoyed the story. The opening was definitely not boring, also something I would like to point out with this genre (horror). They did not make the mistake of making characters dying left to right, I mean some horror genre can have a very high death count, this
...
particular anime did not have that, and that made it all better! They did not skip on anything, they balanced the romance and the horror, it wasn't too overwhelming.
Art
The style was not too shabby, I liked how they had these special transitions, never seen one of those before. The antagonist was really wicked looking, definitely not common to have that style, in my opinion. Some of the scenes were well done, they really did a number on how to expose the essential parts of the scene.
Sound
I am a sucker for piano, so naturally I had to give it a "10". Especially how they embedded the soundtrack with the scenes, it was magnificent, that made the scenes a thousand times better! The emotions they wanted to reveal was much more effective with the sound, and that is what I truly appreciate in an anime!
Character
The score was not as high since, of course the main characters were well made with their background, personality and all that but I did not like how they in some scenes pushed in unessential characters. This made no sense, was it to clarify the scene or? It just confused me, I mean they weren't suppose to be important and they didn't enhance anything to the story nor did anything significant. It was just unnecessary, I mean you wouldn't notice even if they were not present.
Summarize
I truly enjoyed this one, for many reasons, but the one that took it to the top was that everything fell into place so good, just like cogwheels, it went like a charm. This is far the best romantic horror based anime I've seen. I can't even really express to how I felt watching this one, something that some might not agree with is the ending. Some would have preferred the other way, and some the direction this one went with, in my case, I would have preferred the other way actually, that is why this one was not outstanding! To be fair, it wasn't a bad closure but with everything they built up, the other way would have emphasized the effect of the structure, all that said, it is still worth watching, especially if you like romance!

If you are interested in a action/drama/romance/fantasy/comedy, then this anime is for you! This anime will give you one heck of a ride! Now, now, as you can see I gave it a very high grade, those reasons will be listed, so don't worry! Without spoiling too much, this anime is filled with good action scenes, dramatic characteristics story and some might even consider some of the events relate able! Without further a do, here it is:
Story
The story is amazing, I'm not the type of person to just give away high scores but this really deserves it. With a good story, background story and all
...
that, it is amazing how the anime progresses through 13 episodes! You will find yourself ( at least I did) into the story. I wanted to know more, how the story developed, and of course see the conclusion of it all. Without spoiling, I think it was a very well thought story, which didn't leave that many plot holes nor mistakes in it. I wouldn't say it was flawless but since a "10" means outstanding, it truly deserves that!
Art
Yes an 8, what? Why? It's simple, nothing to unique, nothing that baffled me, but it wasn't too shabby, nor was it bad! It was good, in fact very good, if you think what year it was released. That is the solely reason why I gave it an "8", if it's not unique, in my opinion, it doesn't really deserve a 10!
Sound
Good anime needs good music, great anime needs to incorporate these elements to truly get the full effect, too truly give the watcher all the emotions. That is the goal of the music/sound, and I think Angel Beats truly succeeded in that. If you feel like you are in the anime, then it was well made, but this might differ from person to person.
Character
This is what overwhelmed me the most! Their traits, nature, role, background, they really did a good job on this one. I hate anime that solely targets the protagonist, but in this case, they had several characters that were targeted. They did not focus in only one person, each character had their story, background, and you were able to really get to know everyone. You could feel what each character went through in their pasts, you got the emotions they had, you could even relate to them.
Enjoyment
I gave it a "10", do I have to say more? I really enjoyed this one, it took me on one heck of ride as I stated above, what's more to say...I almost watched the whole thing in one go, I was so curious to what would happen next, I wanted to uncover the mysteries, I wanted to know how it would all turn out. I was so amazed to how it turned out to be an outstanding anime! Yes, I will admit that I was skeptic at first, but after the first episode, I was hooked. It was like a roller coaster!
To summarize it all, I would definitely recommend this one, some might not agree with me, but as I stated, if you like action, comedy, drama, romance, a dash of fantasy, I might think you would like this one. Some people might have a hard time digesting the first episode, but trust me, once you get through the appetizer, the rest is like a dessert! On top of it all, the ending was like the cherry on top, it completed the cake. When watching, be ready to be on an emotion-roller coaster!

Just a heads up for this one, it is actually my first romatic comedy (light novel manga based) anime I've seen, so it's like a whole new world! So keep in mind that I have no experience or what so ever, so look at this as a first time review!
Story
This bit is quite interesting, even though I haven't coped to understand it fully yet. I gave it an 8 because it was really intriguing, I instantly wanted to see how it progressed and same goes for the different characters. Mind you I am at the second season. After watching the first season I wanted to
...
know more, know the answers to all the questions, and when you get that kind of feeling, that means that the story is good, at least good enough to have caught my attention!
Art
It's low, yes I am aware of it. It is because it's nothing special, it isn't bad, but it's nothing special. There is no originality to, or uniqueness, but it's not like it's the worst I've seen. It's OK, I'm still gonna watch it though, but that is the reason why I picked a 6 for this one.
Sound
Oh yes, not biased at all but, I really love the sound/music in this anime. Especially since I am a huge fan of pianos (I guess I am bias haha). How they manage to use the soundtracks in the right moment, how they manage to enhance the emotions in every scene. This makes every scene worth seeing in my opinion, they really did great on this part!
Character
Wow, what can I say. There are a lot of personalities, it varies from person to person, so you never really find 2 characters having the same personalities. Which I find good, because that can be really crucial in an anime. Although I've seen some animes in my life, the main characters personality, or just over all the character itself is really interesting. It's not something you would expect.
Enjoyment
I really enjoyed watching this yes, hence the 10. As I clearly stated before, I got hooked the moment I start watching. Not because it's really good, but the story got me caught, and the different characters, I want to see how it all develops. I couldn't stop watching, especially when some of the episodes ends with a "cliffhanger".
Summary
Now the final summary, I really find it interesting how this anime works. Especially since I've watched so many fantasy anime, it's good to get some fresh air. I find that people can really relate to this one with their own life, not in a bad way, but I've seen some comments on some episodes and it really enlightened me on how much people agreed to the story, the characters and how they feel the same way and such. I mean you can't really relate to a character trying to save the world...
This one I really recommend, especially if you a re into these genres. and I will definitely keep on watching, and maybe some day read the manga, although for me I think it takes away 50% of the experience, but that's just me. So if you want a simple anime with this type of genre and wants to go on a roller coaster, I recommend you watch this one!

First of all I want to say that I was actually against watching this and thought it was overrated, so I am not being partial at all, the reason I started watching this anime was because I was sick and had nothing else better to do. Now i will explain to you why I gave it a high rating which is highly unexpected. I should warn you that I have read the manga, meaning I know what happens after the anime, so, don't flame me for stuff happening after, I am only reviewing the first season!
The Story
Well, the reason I gave it an 8 was
...
mainly because it was a too simple concept. The story was not really thought out well, don't flame yet, I will explain why. There are many types of stories and maybe one you've heard before is "saving the world", it is very common to have this type of story, while it's very common and maybe boring, some can actually make this a good type of story. I know that it's very hard to come up with a good (uncommon) story, but hey, that is what I think of that. I'm not saying that it's bad or anything, I gave it an 8 after all, but it would've been more interesting if it had a different unique story!
Art
I should maybe warn you that I haven't seen that many anime, given that you can check my list, but the art style of Attack on titan is really different from what I've seen before, and I actually like it. The really visible outlining of the characters, the amazing background (non-moving environment), and also to point out the pupils of the characters, really detailed.
Sound
I can say a lot of things about the sound, not only was the first introduction song (Guren no Yumiya) catchy but the OST of the anime are really good. It's good in a way how they could fit the sounds together with what was happening, they could really get the most out of the music and gave you different kinds of emotions. Watching some scenes would get me goose bumps, and some scenes would also make me cry, for me that is a 10 when I could live into the anime and get the same emotions as the characters. Some scenes would make me really excited. I would say good job in combining the two attributes.
Character
I really like the characters, their different personalities and their appearance. After watching a couple of episodes I got fond to some of the characters, and would watch and see what they end up doing in the series and how they live their life. You get a favorite character and some you might even relate to (personality that is). (In case you wanted to know, my favorite is Sasha Blouse). Some characters you might hate and some you might not even care for, and that is really good, that means they have succeeded in making each character unique.
Enjoyment
Yes, as you might already have figured out, I really enjoyed this series, I was caught from the beginning. I really enjoyed watching and getting different types of emotions, wanting to know more about what was going to happen next. I really like how they managed to separate emotions, meaning that they have a scene for comedy and another separate scene for seriousness. some anime tends to mix these things, like having a comedy scene in a middle of a serious matter, and for me, that is really annoying. I don't like having comedy in the middle of a fight for example, that is just me I guess.
Summary
So to sum this up, I was what you could say skeptic at first but after the first episode, I got caught in the wave, after that first episode, I just wanted to know more and couldn't get enough and for every episode, I wanted to follow my favorite character and see how she would end up. I cried, laughed, got angry, got sad, throughout the journey. At the end I was so curious that I started reading the manga, but it's not the same as the anime, you don't get the same emotions since you don't have the music, the voice actors and THEIR emotions, so I will probably wait until the next season and cry and laugh again!

Alright, Sword Art Online, I've seen many thoughts about this one. It's was good, WAS good, I'll come back to this. I enjoyed the ride, but nothing particular to enjoy after the ride, although I saw the "movie" before the whole series.
The story was great, it was interesting, fresh, something new. I liked it since I also enjoy playing MMORPG (read synopsis if you don't know what I mean). The art was nothing much to discuss nor mention about, at least I didn't notice anything that made my eyes wide open. The sound together with the scenes fit very well, it enhanced the entire scene,
...
and I really enjoy that. About the story, what can I say, I was caught after watching the special episode/OVA/movie, whatever, but somewhere along the road I got lost. Everything went smooth until I got to the second "stage" of the series, and that is why I gave it a 7. It was when entering that second stage that I began to not enjoy it as much as the first part. I can't say much without spoiling, but that is the main reason I gave it a 7, I would have given it a 6, but the first part really made me reconsider that grade. Also, the second part was not garbage, it had its moments, but it left behind too many essential parts from the first part. It left the great story it had and became repetitive.
Otherwise, I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't watch the whole series all over again, in my case, I would watch the first episodes (1-14 I think) though, but the rest I would rather skip. But hey, that's just my opinion! :)

Alright, what can you say about Kill La Kill?
Pretty common story, so nothing really intriguing or so. What I liked about this was the comedy and the style of it, not the art but how they present the anime I guess you could say.
First of all, the comedy, you got to love the comedy in this anime. It's cheesy, but not over-cheesy that you puke every time they make a joke or so, it's sufficient. It's just like most animes where you have serious times and times for comedy, although in this particular, they combine them, meaning in a serious matter, they suddenly add
...
comedy, in a good way.
Now, the second part, the style. Do you like exaggerated fighting scenes? Do you like exaggerated physics? Well, you might consider this anime. I love how they present the anime (first episode, introduction), the first thing they show is how much comedy will be involved and how exaggerated everything is. I rarely watch those types of animes, but this one amused me very much.

First of all, I want to say that I saw this anime a few months ago so I might have forgotten stuff. Alright then.
I gave it an 8, why? Well, because the character first of all, you can really relate, though it depends on what type of person you are. I, me myself, could relate to the protagonist, that is one reason why I gave such a high rating. Second, the whole environment, so emotional, the whole setting of the anime is neither optimistic nor pessimistic, if you get what i mean...x) It might not be the best artistic work or something like that, but
...
the resource the creators had made the most they could out of it. The story is easy to follow and...well that's what I got.
So if you are looking for a semi-fantasy anime that includes many emotions, this might be it for you (PS. School girls) (PPS No upskirt, harem or anything, pure innocence)
