How I rank my anime. All anime I rank completely based off objectivity I take many things into consideration including but not limited to Storytelling, Characters, Worldbuilding, Symbolism and themes. I use the regular MAL rating system with 5 being a passing grade, anything below a 5 you probably shouldn't watch as it fails in 1 or more major criteria I take into consideration when rating shows. Anime organized under On-Hold are anime I will eventually finish but they are not a priority now or in the near future (Dropped does not always mean dropped forever. Some shows will never be picked back up but I will eventually attempt to watch more, it just means that they are really on the backburner). Additionally each show in Dropped or On-Hold will be given a rating for likelihood of completion with 5 meaning I will 100% complete it and 0 being I will never touch it again. I also do not rate music videos, shorts, or any side story content from larger series. Music videos, and short anime (5 mins and under) are far to short to give a rating on with my scoring system and thus would skew ratings. Side story content is not considered part of the main overarching storyline of an anime, so I cannot comfortably rate it as it's own story.
