Pervyly funny and sweet~
!!!WARNING!!!
The male MC’s (Ryou’s) approach of pursuing the female MC (Ichika) is extremely dangerous. If you follow his footsteps, you will probably wind up in a cell filled with dakimakura(s). Jokes aside~ this manga should be used purely for entertainment but not for education.
!!Minor Spoilers!!
Story: 7
Really straightforward with no digression. Along the story, we will witness how Ichika embraces Ryou and actually accept Ryou’s love and warmth? o.O
...
Art: 10
The strongest category of this manga. Definitely an S tier manga when it comes to art figure transitions between Chibi and real-life proportion.
It is clear that the illustration of chapter 1 is a little rough when compared those of the later chapters as the mangaka was still trying to get used to his/her new work; however, as more chapters are being delivered, the manga's layouts and depictions become cleaner (I don’t really mind having no background in certain scenes) and more aesthetically pleasing.
Character: 9
Ichika: Just a simple girl, yet tolerant toward Ryou
Ryou: Was a fuckboy -> reformed and became a masochist who loves only one girl
Rio: Ryou’s sister and Ichika’s classmate/close friend who plays a significant role as a mediator
Some side characters will appear to help create some stories or scenes.
However, several other side characters will appear as they will try to get the “love” attention from both Ichika and Ryou. As always, this isn’t possible as they are just “side characters”. :P
Each character or side characters have their purposes. But the manga hasn’t reached the point of showing multiple layers of main characters’ personalities. Thus with a -1.
Enjoyment: 10
Love this manga. Definitely was relaxing and comical read while cruising through 33 chapters.
Overall: 9
This manga won’t be a mainstream Romcom manga like some others, but it isn’t something you should ignore once you find it :)

At first, I thought that this is just another normal Isekai.
Then… turns out… yes… this is just another bland Isekai which makes you realize that putting your finger(s) or **** in a glory hole is the most intimate action with the structure… wait what? [o.O] ok I did laugh a little since this is also a comical Isekai manga
Story: 6.5 (Living in the house= becoming the strongest in Isekai -> slowly creating a harem due to being the most powerful man in the Isekai just by being a hermit? :0 )
Art: 9 (not bad at all, but definitely not the top
...
tier. The art definitely makes this manga enjoyable to read though)
Characters: 5 (the weakest category of this manga. The characters setup is simple and straightforward)
Enjoyment: 8 (did not use my brain at all… ok I lied… I kind of use my tiny male brain to read this manga… you will know what I mean :P)
Overall: 7 (just a normal yet forgettable Isekai manga)

**Warning!! This is a harsh and brutal manga, and will certainly make you feel depressed. If you are reading this for relaxation and laughter, this manga isn't recommended; however, if you want to take a dip into the psychotic and twisted human nature, this manga will open your eyes.
Story:
This manga revolves around the theme of “bullying” and “lacking personal core values”. Won’t dive into this too much since it will spoil the story. The plot flows well, and will, oftentimes, leave some cliffhangers for the following chapters.
Enjoyment:
I don’t enjoy this manga (mentally), but this manga’s story is so foul that it kept me, a
...
rather innocent person, reading.
Overall:
This manga is an extreme example or lesson for people who need to know how to find the “right” friends and for people who lack self-confidence. If you want to see potentially severe examples of bullying and evil side of human nature, this manga certainly delivers.
P.S. You should be or must be THE ONE who chooses how your life should be. Do not be swayed by “expectations” or “norms”. (!!Under the circumstance of not harming or harassing other people!!)

Not an Isekai trash/ Chunibyo to the MAX/ Dark Comedy
Before I read this manga, I thought this is just another normal Isekai or Isekai trash with harem… little would I know, after reading 8 chapters, that this manga is currently sitting at one of the top of my “must follow” list.
Before you read this manga, Cid knows that you will enjoy this manga because he has already "envisioned" it. Everything is according to his plan. He "knows"!
*Minor Spoilers*
Q: What happens when a person (with symptoms of Chunibyo) talks sh*t randomly and say something imaginary to act cool?
A: He is f**cking stupid, ignore him.
Q: But
...
what if all those delusions and imaginations are actually true and the person himself doesn’t even know it?
A: o.o -> o.O -> O.O -> ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
Yeah, this manga is about the MC, Cid, “unknowingly” created a secret organization and thought that the world revolves around him when in fact this particular Isekai world DOES revolve around him… Cid believes that the members of his secret organization are acting along with him when in fact what he happens to say or think are actually true. Even his imaginations and predictions, with no basis of proof or no shreds of evidence, happens to be true as well…
Story: 9 (Very creative; moreover, I really love that the story blur past the growing experience section and gets to the main content that the audience wants to see. Lots of Isekai cliches were being used, but turns out to be funny and entertaining regardless)
Art: 10 (When a person with Chunibyo appears to be so badass and stupid at the same time, you know the skill of this mangaka is legendary. Also, the hot ladies in this manga can’t be unmentioned)
Characters: 10 (Really really well thought out, each character has their own unique attitude and purposes. Even a poor truck-kun has his own role…)
Enjoyment: 10 (If this is less than a 10, then I don’t know why I was on the ground catching my breath)
Overall: 9.5 (-0.5 for potential error, but this manga has such a great vibe and start. It is going to be hard for this manga to be unrecognized if this kind of story content keeps on coming)
Wait a second!!! Cid already knows that I am writing a review about him o.O

Light Novel’s Adaptation/ Harem/ Love development/ Heartfelt & Immersive
-Whore. Slut. Choices. Impurity. Sinful.
-The lead female is a whore -> so this is not a good manga
-Ewww high school girl has a past of having sexual intercourses, downer. She is done for. Regardless of her future, will be forever a whore. Disgusting.
If the words or sentences above are reasons or statements that you sincerely believe or holds true to the core of how you view females, girls, human beings, and judge if a manga is good or not. Let me get this straight. This manga IS NOT FOR YOU.
For those people who continue
...
on reading this review, I just want to say that you are no shallow fellow judging on the elements or reasons why a great manga is a great manga since good stories, oftentimes, reflect, sadly, normal everyday life.
While those words or elements exist in this story, they DO NOT DIMINISH the value of this manga; on the other hand, this particular manga with a seemingly casual and nonchalant title, “I Shaved. Then I Brought a High School Girl Home”, is actually ONE OF THE MOST DELICATE love stories I have ever read. Period.
Just by reading this particular manga, there are so many questions while I slowly digest through the first 9 chapters.
What is love? How does one person react to it or show it? What is the middle ground among platonic, romantic, and sexual relationship? What do people actually seek while being alive? What is happiness?
________________________________________________________________________________________
Won’t get too deep into specifics since Trivia_lover has done an excellent job on his review. And no, I have not read the light novel for this story.
Story: 9 (still young but bright future.)
Art: 9 (There are several moments when I feel that face to body portion isn’t natural. The overall art is great though~ :) )
Characters: 9 (character growth, perhaps the most important part of this manga, and personalities can been seen, really excited as to how the characters will interact with each other and grow as story goes on. -0.5 for potential error)
Enjoyment: 10 (slow updates kill me every time ;/ you know you count time when you love this manga)
Overall: 9

This review is written by a fellow human who wishes people acknowledge the fact that homo sapien is a “forever-changing” species. Past can be a rough past. But, the current state, how a person has become oneself and change from his/her past, is the utmost quintessence. However, if one really wants to understand the past, "sympathy" is needed.
As Trivia_lover has written, which I wholeheartedly agree, “I suggest you go try it.”

*This is a side manga of “Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka”.
If you are someone who adores Ryu, Syr (SYRRRRR, mi amor), or members of Hostess of Fertility, you MUST NOT MISS OUT this manga.
For people who don’t have a clue of the people or the pub I just mentioned or have not read or watched “Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka”.
This manga might be confusing since there isn’t a clear introduction to either the realm or certain characters. I would suggest reading “Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka” for context
...
before devouring this to get the max nutrition out of it.
However, for people who have read or watcbed “Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka”, the story of this manga doesn’t affect the main storyline of “Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka”. Rather, it comprises 3 side stories that allow the readers to gain an understanding on the background of Orario and the history of how several kawaii girls meander upon the doorsteps of Hostess of Fertility. Most importantly, readers' hearts will be melted as if drinking cups of hot cocoa while reading this Familiar Chronicle.
Story: 10 (Bias, but I love these side stories.)
Art: 10 (Those emotions, those fighting scenes, the existence of Syr)
Character: 10 (Syr+Ryu, cute girls)
Enjoyment: 11 (more side episodes please~~~ I am addicted)
Overall: 10 (<3)

Fetish Couple/ Heartwarming Romcom
If you are looking for a sweet hot chocolate, this manga is for you ~~ (ง * ̀_* ́)ง
*Minor Spoiler*
The beginning of this manga is simple:
Tatsu, Male MC, has hair fetish
Kotoka, Female MC, has back fetish
What happens when they are attracted to each other’s hair or back?
...
Tatsu and Kotoka become a couple <3
Along the way, there will be some side characters such as friends or family members that have different fetishes as well.
For me though, what makes this manga special is its own way of displaying affection toward each other. Sometimes, I might feel that they were simply complimenting each other’s hair or back; however, those are just signs for some upcoming light grenades (filled with maple syrup) to show the audience how they truly LOVE each other (even without each other's hair or back)… RIP my eyes and my teeth.
What to expect:
-Funny conversations or teases between Tatsu and Kotoka
-Scenes that forces us to gulp maple syrup
-some unexpected laughter
-(for readers that has hair fetish) The mangaka is actually good at drawing Kotoka’s hair xD
-a new way to hug: https://imgur.com/zjNiVtz
Story: 9 (still young but great start and concept)
Art: 9 (The art is decently well-drawn)
Character: 8 (character development isn’t the core of this manga, but it’s alright)
Enjoyment: 10 (Too sweet, definitely a good read when you need sugar and to de-stress)
Overall: 9 (A great read for people searching for Romcom)

Fighting for survival/ Path of returning home or searching for immortality
I didn’t have any expectation. But after a few chapters or 65 chapters later, I came out close to addicted.
If you are searching for some fantasy fighting or shounen-ish manga while hoping it can combine the element of thriller or plot-twists, you should check out this manga~~ Oh yeah, not only this is a gory manga, but this manga also heavily details on its characters’ development.
***Warning, this is not a ninja manga that focuses on whose Jutsu is cooler or stronger. If you are trying to read a manga that makes you happy
...
or laugh, this is not a manga for you*
*Minor Spoilers*
Before talking about the story, I must mention the MCs.
-Gabimaru: “Best” Ninja/ Prisoner.
-Asaemon: Sword Master/ Executioner.
Due to “coincidence” or “story setup”, these two MCs somehow “teamed” up together along with the other executioners/ prisoners to pursue the elixir of immortality on a mysterious island in order to be freed and return back to home.
Along the way, both of them must face or prevail their personal conflicts and weaknesses. More importantly, they must survive death-threatening opponents or challenges ahead of them.
For Gabimaru, he was supposed to be a heartless human killing machine; however, he must find a way to incorporate emotions and feelings to become his strength.
For Asaemon, she was supposed to be arguably the best swordmaster; however, she must find confidence in herself and her expertise in the samurai sword.
Other than the MCs, the side characters can be extremely interesting as well. Overall, the characters in this manga are hella striking in their own ways and can actually steal some spotlights away from the MCs.
For the story, the setup is extremely unique. Despite having the samurai/ninja element + Edo-ish vibe, the mangaka, Yuuji san, completely created his own universe. With the existence of a mysterious island, Yuuji san demonstrated crimson contrast between hope and despair, survival and death.
For the art category, it is definitely a highlight of its own. Don’t want to go further into this, go READ x)
Story: 9 (unique, well planned, smooth)
Art:10 (meticulous, aesthetically pleasing, astounding background, love the human sketches)
Characters: 10 (detailed, see growth, consistent)
Enjoyment: 10 (Became a huge fan of this manga)
Overall: 9.5 (highly recommend to give it a shot)
P.S. Yuzuriha is THE BAE

Love/ Magic/ TSUNDERE
Trying to find a manga that will cause cavities or diabetes???~~ Read this manga now!
I was hooked by this manga since finishing the first chapter. The elements of purity, love at first sight, and awkwardness of expressing one’s tenderness are personally a no brainer for me to continue on reading this manga.
Characters:
Zagan, our male MC, is a talented young lad, a candidate for “Demon lords”. Yet, everyone believed him as cruel and even cold-blooded.
Result: Can be extremely awkward, unable to express feelings
Nephilia, our female MC, is a beautiful elf with an unknown source of power. Despite this, she was mistreated by
...
her own race and eventually became a slave.
Result: Servant mentality, null to emotions, and unable to express feelings.
Yet, with all those personal flaws, both of them are going break those walls and find each other’s true nature and core. Several fights and several interactions (while intertwining with the element of tsundere) between them or facing them in the upcoming chapters are going to help them find the meaning and understanding of love.
Story: 8 (smooth, sweet)
Art: 9 (the only complaint is that the background can be bland)
Character: 8 (we can see the characters are growing as the chapter goes on)
Enjoyment: 10 (LOVE, much LOVE)
Overall: 9 (Pure love is amazing)
This manga has so much potential. I don’t think drinking maple syrup can be more satisfying and sweetening than reading this manga.

Crane Games/ Good Laughs at Ludicrousness
I adore this manga, truly one of its kind. If you want to see how ridiculous the crane game can be and relate to "Toy Story" feeling, dive into this manga :)
!!Minor Spoiler!!
Story: 8
The story isn’t meant to be long and wasn’t supposed to be that way. Yet, it delivers the most important concept, “there will be no competition against other dolls or plushes if you are emotionally bound to a specific one(s).” With that in mind, in the span of 5 chapter (11 sections), the main MCs, Wangtangchang and Goro-chan, are going to fight against their opponents through mutual
...
love and LOVE.
Art: 10
Nakayama san’s art is pretty immersive for this kind of manga. I am beyond captivated by how he drew the crane games!!
Oh yeah!! A tiny amount of fan service too ;)
Characters: 6
The setup for this is pretty basic. The female MC is supposed to be the best at crane games, and her plush is supposed to be her best partner and her most favorite doll no matter what happened.
Wangtangchang: female MC
Goro-chan: hamster/bear-like doll
This manga doesn’t have a ton of character development. Thus, I will give it a 6!
Enjoyment: 9
I love this manga. Read this after a long day of work when my brain can’t function due to being tired. Since this manga is not long, it gave me some quick laughs and memories within a short duration :)
Overall: 8
It is a wild and ridiculous series. If you want some quick laughs about how ludicrous crane games can become, this is a good manga for you ;)
